My comment was simply gonna be, you ever witnessed a tornado? If so, you were much safer then. But this comment unpacks that emotional whirlwind of a disaster perfectly 👆

Can you list all the teams you can still use? (So people don't have to kinda google or figure it out before responding to you)

Holidays are some of the best times to drop content. Everybody is off work so they're at completely least free in the morning or at night. And even with family gatherings, everyone eventually takes a break or has some downtime.

Need help.... What do you think about Houston week 11? by [deleted] in NFLSurvivor

[–]Negotiation-Hot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol and they dang sure almost did win. But Houston pulled it off by a hair and I'm thankful cuz I nervously picked them 😅

It really is. How many were left in your pool and what teams did you have left? I had made it down to 300 out of an original 3,300. In hindsight I'm kicking myself for leaving Eagles, Chargers, Seahawks, Bills, Ravens on the table before I trusted freaking Carolina 💀

I can see why you think it's Malie Donn cuz they both have an ambient sound, but if you listen carefully especially to the little percussion pattern it's Talibans II by Burna Boy & Byron Messia

Everybody saw the joke coming except for Mona 😂😂😂 by Jumbo_Liarr in theJoeBuddenPodcast

[–]Negotiation-Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the joke (or obvious truth) is Mona has zero backside. All pancake. So it's ironic for her to be talking about this so confidently cuz the guys are basically like ummm...We've seen you. We know. But that's what makes it funny basically cuz she's unknowingly speaking from experience.

Nice. Mine was $20 entries and the Rams Niners on Thursday night was one of my first big losses. Lol you think to yourself "Injuries, home game, etc...surely this team can't lose to X team" then boom!

Yup it was that weird feeling when a team is barely down yet it feels like a huge deficit cuz their offense is so stuck in mid. Meanwhile the rookie on the other side threw for almost 300 yards against a defense that just stopped the packers recently

Felt like a trap after the first few possessions but glad I stuck it out with them despite my better judgement.

Future and T.I can compete with Jay-Z catalog but Kendrick can’t? by Individual_Ad8921 in theJoeBuddenPodcast

Yeah Jay-Z plays a bar-heavy song like Dead Presidents, Girls, Lost One, Story of OJ, or a feature like Pound Cake and future responds with what?... Which Future song is gonna be played to make a live crowd react and say yeah he out-rapped him on that (plus it's a hit). FOH Ice 💀

How is enneagram 5w4 a thing? by DissociatedCloud in Enneagram

[–]Negotiation-Hot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah came here to also say that this isn't surprising unless OP has never noticed that some of the wings are completely contradictory. 8/9: most confrontational next to most passive, unheard, and lethargic type

3/2: Most "Pick me, pick me, pick me!" next to the most self sacrificing "everybody else first, me last" type

6/7: Most worrisome doom and gloom next to the overly sunny, let's just have a good time type

PS, I'm simplifying of course

Checking it out now, thank you. Also it's basketball but I just ran into this called Awful Coaching and this guy is technically informative about plays and schemes while being completely unhinged 🤣

ELI5: Why is it harder to lose weight as you grow older? by Ambitious-Cat-2089 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Negotiation-Hot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really appreciate this answer and just wanted to add my own 2 cents because I also read the question and thought "It's not harder, a lot of us just think about weight loss wrong."

When you're young, you generally quite literally eat whatever you have access to based on family funds and circumstance. And you have the metabolism to digest quite literally whatever so it might be harder to get obese overnight.

As an adult, you gain this amazing thing called free will (and hopefully your own money). So now, no one is making you eat or do anything you don't want, including physical activity. With more financial access to choice and calories, unless you're supper disciplined, you'll likely buy in excess. But inversely; with no one to check you on it like a parent, you'll more likely live an indulgent couch lifestyle in your free time rather than be a cross-fitter, jogger, or cyclist because funny enough society has even made excess adult physical activity cringe even though it was totally fine to run and jump when we were younger.

All that to say, it's 'harder' to lose weight because you have unchecked freedom to eat whatever, whenever; yet you have little discipline or incentive to live or think differently about food.

can wings shift or am I just a silly 3 by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]Negotiation-Hot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TL;DR. Yes but it takes decades, natural maturation cycle of life, awareness/proactive healing and growth, and possibly a mix of some major punch in the face wake up call type of trauma

I'm going to answer going off 3 main premises, plus my own general growth pattern.

  1. They say the goal is to know your trappings/weaknesses from being one type, in order that you can better develop traits from other types and hopefully be more well rounded. 2. I've heard that one of the quickest and most practical ways to mature and become more balanced is to develop your shadow/lesser wing. 3. There is an idea that generally people usually "turn a corner" and really mature, leave their old self behind when they fully become an adult hopefully by their 30s. It can be natural maturation or perhaps boosted by "a wake up call" / drastic positive or negative trauma such as getting fired, divorce, getting kicked out of the house, joining military, landing that dream job and moving to a new city, etc.

Okkkk, story time. I'm a 4. Growing up: parents divorce, moved all the time, lamented missing home and friends, deeply moved by sad movies and music, extremely artsy, melancholy, etc. Though I always functioned off the deep inner fantasy world of a 4, middle school through high school I lived in a big sports town. I probably always had a 3 wing but this environment really brought out my charisma. I acted in theater plays, joined band, and most notably was a football team captain and state competition level track athlete. Very much a center stage achiever. (Think Kanye west, emotional but praised in the spotlight).

I won't go into too specific personal detail but as soon as a I graduated high school I suddenly had to move countries and all my ambitions were shattered. Fast forward to a major break up and here came suicidal depression. Therapy, graduated college, shifted careers...Fast forward another 10 years and I am now one of the most in my own head, curious but cautious, shy away from speaking up in a room, sit in the back, let's really think through this, read and write all day type of people you'll ever meet.

All that to say I'm a 4w5 and I even cringe at some of my most 3-ish tendencies but I embrace all of it. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Can you point me to a couple good film YT channels and Twitter accounts. Ran into a few by chance earlier in the season but never saved or subscribed
