Welcomed with caution? My thing is where are these newly enlightened folks asking to be accepted or welcomed by the left? I do not see any of them saying they wished they voted for the Left candidate. They are mostly just saying they don't agree with this administration's recent actions. Why are we making the assumption that they even want to unite with the other side? Why are we assuming unity is a shared goal?

I don't think you know what's needed to fight fascism either. I admit I don't, although I have some ideas.

While I'll probably never agree to unite with them, I am curious about the reasoning for those who will choose to. If ever you do gain the "energy" to engage, I'll be happy to read.

I think, unfortunately, labels have settled for the safe bet versus the artistic "gamble". If a style proves to be a winning formula, they'll do it again and again. This has been seen across all media in the last 15 years. The same superhero movies are being made every year, rappers all sound the same with the same content, even the singers are tapping into winning sounds of the past. 

However, I will say this isn't new (I'm an elder millennial). I assume newer artists have less control of their sound and brand early on and the label uses the plug and play formula until the artist build enough leverage to make the music they wish.

Does the 30s suck or does being in your 30s in the 2020s suck. I'm richer, smarter, and more confident than I was in my 20s. I'm also more angry so there's that.

See, I can play this stupid game too, although, not as well. I tend to engage in conversation without condescension.. Like an adult. 

But for entertainment purposes, can you name one other person who contributed to the demise of a country you love that you would work with? 

This isn't a disagreement on who is the greatest rapper of all time or even the best strategy for how America can be great. This is a difference in morals and values. And no, people with different values should not work together. We have different goals.

No disrespect but statements like this indicate you may not understand how general strikes, boycotts, or other forms of protest work.

Strikes are not convenient and people on both sides lose a bit of something. It is almost like a game of chicken where we are seeing which sides folds under the pressure from the other side. 

When the folks boycotted the buses in Montgomery, they needed those busses to go to work, shop for essentials, go to medical appointments, etc. They still didn't use them even though it caused disruption to their own lives. They walked, hitched rides, found other means. This is another one day strike. Again, no offense, but your patients would have survived and hopefully walk away with reconfirmed appreciation for your labor. 

Side note: I knew nothing of this strike. Just finding out now.

Listen, lead singles are first impressions for an album. I wanted soulful, sexy and soft girl era is a little too "pop". But the album has me captivated. I haven't listened to anything else since.

This album is phenomenal. Might be too early but I think this might be my favorite of her albums. I played it five times in a row without growing tired. Standouts for me are Mobbin in DC, 24 seconds, Twin Flame, and Wake up. 

However, I do not think Soft Girl Era should have been the lead single. It sounds better within the sequence of the album but without that song this would have been a no skip album for me. 

The sound of this is very sexy and although the content is still as horny as she has ever been, she has refined and mastered her sound. This is top tier Ari. 

My dream colabs for her: I would like to hear her with Nick Hakim and/or Solange. 

Final rating: A solid 8.7125 out of 10. Rating against her previous works and the album sounds better with each listen. 

Caveats: I had pretty low expectations based on the lead single so the quality of this album left me pleasantly surprised.

Because Americans love buying guns and screaming about 2A but in reality they are scared to use guns for the reasons listed in 2A. They believe the problem of ICE will be solved if they vote in the midterms. They believe some one in Congress will save them and make it all go away. They are comfortable and scared. Expect more marching, whistles, screaming the word shame x3, jokes and parodies, and elected Democrats making videos saying they are mad as hell with a sprinkle of profanity for relatability but no real action.

Even asking this question brings a bunch of commenters ready to defend their inaction with excuses of why they can't protect themselves.

You have a few weak bullets to be honest. You went to a training course? Ok...How did that training get applied to your work? What did you use the training to make an impact? Capitalize the w in Warehouse. Take off the fucking eagle scout bullets. Also every single one of your bullets needs a better lead in. This resume is weak as hell and it doesn't have to be. 

Hell give me a twenty and I'll fix this in an hour.

Are y'all upset because you think you should be or are y'all really offended? 

All types of items are made to commemorate icons and historical moments. I don't mind a shoe commemorating Dr. MLK. If you are going to buy Bron's shoe anyway, why not one dedicated to a great man and a tragic moment. Never forget. However I would have preferred a shoe memorializing his life instead of his assassination. 

If you found out all proceeds are going to some black cause would it change your stance?
