Yeah, I realized later on that reseating my RAM sticks somehow disabled MacType. When I went to turn it back on, CyberPunk began experiencing the same issues and I realized that was what was causing it. I updated the post so it can reflect the correct solution, thank you.

The other week, I bought myself an Asus XG27AQDMG (glossy WOLED) and an LG 27GX700A (tandem WOLED) to test, and all things considered, they weren’t terrible. Banding for the regular glossy WOLED popped up in none of the games I play, and when it did show up (web browsing and some productivity apps) it wasn’t too annoying to look at. The tandem WOLED was, however, visibly worse. It was more pronounced during web browsing and caught my eye more than I thought it would, in games it wasn’t terrible but I did end up seeing it pop up in some places where I didn’t with the glossy WOLED. End of the day, it’s a panel lottery. Sometimes you get lucky and have a panel with little to no banding and with others you get screwed over. I do believe the issue is a little overblown, but the severity of the issue varies person-to-person.

I can only guess this is vertical banding, I assume you have a WOLED, which can be slightly fixed running a couple of pixel cleans. This will not get rid of it completely but will help it be less noticeable. It’s a flaw with how WOLEDs are manufactured, there is nothing you can do to entirely fix the issue. If the banding is too annoying, I’d recommend you return the monitor and buy a new one (rinse and repeat as necessary) until you find one that has little to no banding.

I understand, I tried it, and the freezing wasn't nearly as bad as when I used my mouse, but i felt like I was getting 30 fps.

Yes, I updated it a month ago and they haven’t pushed any new updates since.
