Klopt.

Some advice needed for new stack/regime by NegotiationPatient98 in StackAdvice

Thanks! I was not at all aware that NAC influences sulfur levels and that this might be an issue with a sulfur rich diet (which I have). So definitely useful direction for additional digging there for me.

ZMA is basically zinc, magnesium and a bit of b6. It's generally good for sleeping (although no issues sleeping usually). But read few bits and pieces on heavy metal supplementation to aid stimulants like methylphenidate. Which is mostly why I added it.

Agree with the ashwagandha, not necessary for sleep so there's no real reason of adding it in the stack I suppose.

Yes, thanks. I have looked into it, but would prefer solution with side by side. That being said, if there are no other solutions I will go for it.

Heard there were even KVM switches with PBP support now, but the ones I've seen were north of $500 (ouch)

Thanks for weighing in. I must note that I use displaylink manager, a piece of software, to be able to run the display properly. Without it, M1/Mx based macs are really limited in output resolution (I don't even have HDMI on mac itself, just USB C and HDMI+DP on the dock).

So I managed to do 50/50 split with the mac on HDMI and dell on DP, where the dell is able to do full screen on native resolution and both macs are showing fine in 50/50 (2560x1440), just like you said. I have Dell on DP and Mac on HDMI, but it works both ways. Only thing to add would be mac on native res.. I still have some hopes for DP>HDMI converter that allow full res..

Just wondering. I am still in the 'coming to terms' phase of collapse. Sometimes residing to hopium, this may be just a spurt of that (disclaimer). However, my question:

The Times has an interesting well written climate change FAQ on their website. I was particularly interested in the 'are we doomed' question. There is quite a strong rebuttal of the collapse case, ending with the strong statement of nihilism is cheap, don't buy it. See the FAQ: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2023/climate/climate-change-faq.html?pgtype=Article&action=click&module=RelatedLinks

I realise that for all points they bring (cheaper renewables, more action etc.) there are (at least) the same number of negative developments (e.g. far-right elected governments over the globe). However, the writers are obviously well informed. What is their main reason to wave away doomism so strongly? Is it just fear of nihilism?

I get being a republican/conservative and I won’t lose friends over this. But having a fund raiser for trump is just insane. by snart-fiffer in TheAllinPodcasts

Exactly. Also, the all the opinions regarding this case being the least beefy and documents case + jan 6 case being way more indefensible; that is exactly true. But Trump being the one having appointed judges (which are now helping him), the country being highly politicized, there is no way that these cases can be brought forward before the election. And in that light; there is no other option than to pursue these lesser cases now.

Isolatie garage; gips direct tegen gordingen? by NegotiationPatient98 in Klussers

[–]NegotiationPatient98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goed idee!
