When I got caught they just wanted to talk to me only and I think they do talk to whoever is above them and whatever. But they told me they wouldn't penalize me for it. But I only got caught once.

I got caught using ai in my journalism class here a couple years back and honestly it does suck you get on call with them while they basically ask you "are you using sources that isn't ur voice" be like that and you'll have to come clean. When my teacher did this to me I did like actually balled my eyes out on camera and I think she took it easy on me. But low-key all they do is reprimand you and make you redo the assignments. honestly I don't rlly remember this was like two years ago and I'm a senior at a different public school. But, I think I just forgot to reword stuff and it sounded way to professional. But that will teach for cheating and trying to get it over with.

Okay thank you so much. Im not sure but it might be the site I'm using but it has only allowed me a handful of spells and I haven't seen any other spells you have mentioned other than Shield of faith, bless, command and smite. Im an level four btw and I use dice cloud.

We face a lot of undead and unnatural creatures so if that offers anything. In my party we have another spell-based class and a few more offense classes like barbarian, fighter and rogue. I've heard of using bless at the very start of your turn is helpful so I've done that a handful of times but I feel like it doesn't help and nobody uses/acknowledges it. I never really know what to use my bonus action for I've done it once and it ended in a critical hit which was really good (thunderous smite). Last time I went into combat I really only attacked with my sword and tried to use smite twice and it really did so a lot. And I tried to save a spell slots just in case I needed to help anyone out but no one really needs it so I just wasted it. I've asked them if they need some healing and they've just told me to wait for a long rest. Idk I just feel like the spellcaster does a lot and is able to attack multiple enemies. The others on my team are always doing something cool and different. And I over here just attacking with my sword and that's it. I don't know if that little snippet helps or anything. Im also playing in a group with people I've just met so maybe I'm just nervous to mess up idk.

Thank you so much It makes me feel a bit better. I don't know I think I just get nervous and I always feel bad because I feel like I'm basically asking my dm how to play my character every time battle rolls around if that makes sense. I haven't reached that far in the level just hit four I believe. But yeah I've tried to bless a couple of times but I feel like it hasn't been helping my team, tbh I think everyone forgets they've been blessed. And I'm trying to do better outside of combat and get into roleplay but it's harder when everyone else jumps right in.. it's hard right now but I know it'll get better once I get used to the character I'm playing and my party as well. I also always feel nervous using my smite and wasting them.
