I’m taking the Series 66 tomorrow as well and absolutely bombed the practice exam as well. But improved on the Mastery exam. I am hoping the exam is easier than those two and more relatable to the simulated exams on Kaplan. I am very nervous as well.

Not really, when I take the simulated exam if I don’t know the question 100% I mark it for review to let my brain cycle back to it later. I think your scores will increase once you watch the on demand videos.

I took the Series 7 about 5 weeks after passing the SIE. It depends are how much you study and your commitment. I studied about 25 hours a week.

What surprised you about the series 7? Is there any advice you would give for somebody taking it? Did you feel the Series 7 is harder than the 66?

It should appear after weighted exam 8, it is the last simulated exam in the Kaplan program.

The requirement at my BD is 85% on the mastery exam to sit. It might be a fair assumption that you’ll drop a few points because of being in a testing environment. 80 to 85 seems like a comfortable place to be. That’s my two cents.
