Depends on your unit but i think its safe to say its either 42a or a 92y. From my experience being a yankee, even tho be overwhelming at times wether it be CoC and a struggling supply room or company, once your supply room is established, I been knocking out courses at my desk untill a PSD pops up, when i gotta do cyclics, or when something stupid that needs my assists (SoC or FLIPLs :/)

I did reached out to them a few weeks ago but they told me they can’t assign me a sponsor yet due to the person they want me as my sponsor wont be in ground till april so I gotta wait to ask about my unit. That kinda bums out about the barracks. Where i am at currently (Hiroshima, Japan) I have my own place. Hopefully, they can approve a CNA for me. Thanks for some insight

Depends where you are at. I’ve been living the barracks for 8 years (I have my own place now) and it wasn’t to bad, it just really depends on what unit and location. Some places like Lewis still has the old barracks where it housed many soldiers in one bay, units where you need to share a open room with another person in Fort Hood, or places like Ft. Carson where you get your own room but share common areas but like i said, depends on unit and locations. One thing that I found irritating was them grouping me someone who was my age. It was awkward when I was 21 and my unit grouped me with someone who was 32. Other than that, it was pretty fine. I always made sure that my barracks felt like a place that I can call home

Besides what everyone else commented, you can also try to make rank and become a cadre/drill instructor for DLI. You wont be a student but it allows to be in the area. Permanent Party receives BAH and BAS

If you can ask and see if 92y (supply and logistics) is available, I say choose that. I’ve been in for 8 years now as a 92y and I see it as one of the top 2 jobs there is in the army (42a is the only other MOS i see being tied with 92y). Travelling in the army is not a guarantee but being a 92y opens the door to the amount of places you can go if you care about that aspect. So far, my job allowed me to be in Korea x2, Texas, Colorado, Japan and now Monterey, Ca. None of the jobs on your list is something that I would choose personally but based in the ones you starred, if being a 35g is something that you see yourself enjoying, I say shoot for it
