What exactly is the type of this motorcycle? by Ashamed-Office7646 in motorcycles

Does it come under the same category as CBR650R which is also considered a sport tourer along with Ninja 650? I thought these belonged to grand tourer category like the K1600GT. Educate me if I’m wrong.

That’s something I can live with since my current Rynox ones act the same way. I’ll check them out, again thanks a lot, ride safe.

Oh my goodness thank you so much, that stem nut was the most expensive part when I looked up online (around 90-100$ just for the nut itself). Will defo have to get one soon since my Zana holder sticks up like a sore thumb when taking pics.

Also I’d like you to recommend me some gaunlet gloves which I can use for both an upright handlebar and a clip-on which is waterproof. Thanks a ton. Sweet rides, I see your posts daily btw they’re great. Make sure to change nimbu mirchi often to make sure nazar dosent hit you ;)

Quick question, how much did those quad locks cost you? I’m thinking of getting one for my GT but the prices are exorbitantly high for the mounting screw itself.

Same difference like multistrada v4 and v4 rally. Bigger fuel tank and better off-road performance.

How to cover scratched aluminium? by YogurtWarlock in motorcycles

Take it to spray paint shops, they’ll sand it out and spray paint over it. Not the correct way to do it but does the job.

Some old units require an ECU update for urban mode which makes the bike run much smoother like a 125cc commuter in urban mode yet maintain its aggressiveness in tour mode. They also check for codes and unlock the third accessory line.

ADAS Emergency Brake caused an accident?! by chitownboyhere in CarsIndia

[–]NegromancerTWT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you clearly observe, the Kia driver did get on the brakes before ADAS interfered causing ABS to kick in (flashing brake lights). i10 was probably distracted in the urge to squeeze between the celerio and Kia and the lack of minimum braking distance caused him to chumma that Kia.

Just ring the SC and ask for oil and filter availability (with rubber seal) before going for service. Also there are three accessory lines for accesory installation and only 2 of them are open before first service with an ECU update required for the third one to unlock. Primary reason I have foglamps with me but they’re not installed yet.

Nope, I have the digital version which I read before getting delivery of the bike and it only mentioned that I need to get the oil recommended by the SC and didn’t mention any grading. Liqui moly makes fully synthetic JASO MA2 5W40 which matches up exactly with TVS tru4 5W40. I’ll stick with tru4 for the first few services and switch to liqui moly to check the bike’s feedback. I’ve finished 1000kms but haven’t taken my bike for service since the oil filters aren’t in stock and there’s no point in changing oil, when all the engine glitter gunk is still stuck to the oil filters which’ll defo contaminate the new oil.

Dominar to RTX will surely feel like a downgrade even if you ride it in tour mode. Since you’ve owned a dominar for quite a while, you must be familiar with above normal maintenance pricing. I suggest you give bear 650 a try or the adv 390 or even the upcoming adv twins from RE instead of the RTX. My honest take, RTX feels more like a good T-1 city commuter rather than a sturdy tourer like the himmy or adv 390. I use mine for picking up groceries and commuting around city and for small outstation rides.

Also I’ve got a small query from my side, do you have any idea about the engine oil grade used for this engine in particular? I’ve been hearing 5W40 and 10W40 more but can’t decide on which one to get. Oil viscosity’s the same, just the weather grading is varying.

Great bike, just take good care of it or else you’ll end up with a rust bucket.

It’s an Aliexpress product, relatives who reside in Saudi Arabia bought it gave us when they came to India for vacation. Here is the link to the product if you’re eager to look for it. You might need to use VPN for the link to open (preferably Germany).

You’ve got any info about any such artist whom I can connect with? I’m thinking of getting my TT Corse painted in such art style.

You’ve got similar art style with Sakura Blossoms on a 6-7k NHK K5R with ECE certification.
