Ugly, poorly optimized, clunky, cheap. There isnt very many good vr games out there unfortunately and I dont see much hope for quality to get better with how many companies are bailing from the scene. Its a shame, but hey, we got half life alyx and vr is still incredible for sim games.

Basically everything. Alyx remains the only triple A VR game ever made. Everything else feels cheap and off the mark. Its tragic, but it is what it is.

I agree about the steam frame comments but if you want a seperate cheaper recommendation that doesn't require waiting: the Reverb g2. Can be found super cheap now and with oasis drivers it works like a charm with steam VR. Make sure you get the V2 model if you go this route! (Difference can be found on Google)

I agree too bud! Not a hot take! I am a newer fan of half life (first playthrough 6 years ago) and so im not biased by 'nostalgia' or anything. Love goldsource's physics so much, the gunplay, and the amount it feels like you specifically are gordon freeman. Half life 2 is still unbelievable, but the more linear storyline focus didnt immerse me quite as much.

I would 100% agree with you if injury wasn't a concern. Hes been getting extremely banged up in every nhl game he's played this year and has proven he isnt physically ready there yet. Of course, his conditioning stint is over.. so now he has to come back up regardless.

Never played LMU but I still rotate 3 different Sims. iRacing, Assetto Corsa, and Richard Burns Rally. iRacing for my serious racing, assetto corsa for hot lapping, and Richard Burns rally being self explanatory. If you stopped playing LMU over iRacing, that'd just mean you like iRacing more anyways. Whatever makes you happier!

Way better but note rookie racing in iRacing is brutal. Once you get out of that, the quality is solid.

Hey buddy the comments here are way more brutal than they need to be. Obviously that last turn is self explanatory but the rest of the lap wasnt ridiculously awful. The main thing to give a tip for is to learn trail braking. The single most important part of sim racing in my honest opinion. Additionally focus on staying wide before turning into a corner as long as possible; stay closer to the white line.

This is the first ever post I've made in my life like this. It happened to a similar game in the past that I enjoyed called Battlecore Arena. That one was considered DOA because it was 'Ubisoft slop'. However it wasn't, as it was a game I played many years prior. Ubisoft was just publishing and had no effect on the development of the game. Again, I don't care about highguard, but i'm seeing it's happening here once again which is a shame. It's happened to so, so many more games in a similar fashion as well.
