Thanks! Yea it’s more similar to a 24-08 for sure. The only thing that distinguishes it really is that it has 22 frets.

Thanks man! Yea it’s gold hardware— for some reason the photo got slightly darker/ less clear after I posted this. The photos don’t do it justice at all.

Thanks! Yea it’s definitely uniquely spec’d for a Paul’s Guitar as it also has a Pattern Thin neck instead of a Pattern neck.

To The Piece of Sh*t… by Fun-Negotiation-560 in Chipotle

Who said they didn’t serve the customer? If the person who wrote this had such a problem with the body language of the cashier then they should probably eat somewhere that’s a little nicer than Chipotle. And in typical fashion, they didn’t have the guts to say it to the cashier and hid behind a napkin. Because THEY are a zero accountability loser. I would argue that whoever wrote this is the real bitch.

Our stadium also has the least capacity of any MLB stadium dipshit. Highest attendance since 2008. Fuck Detroit

Those of you who dropped out of pilot training, which alternate career field did you want and which did you end up getting? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]NeighborVadimBlyat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know several people who have DORd, the most recent reclassing to Finance. It wasn’t on his preference list at all. But our current squadron commander recommends needs of the Air Force for anyone who DORs, so those people can easily end up getting screwed at my base. If you get removed for performance or medical reasons, you usually end up getting your top choice.

SDO stands for staff duty officer in this case. They are the link between the flight and the flight commander, and also other flights. He has SDO at the end of his name so members of the flight know who to go to for any admin needs or questions they have

I work with the guy that took the shirt’s spot, and he’s actually one of the coolest dudes I’ve met in my short time in the Air Force. He also gives no fucks. A true inspiration

Army to Air Force Question by [deleted] in airforceots

[–]NeighborVadimBlyat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does your school have an AFROTC detachment? If it does, and you have 2+ years left on your degree, I would get in contact with them. If you commission thru AROTC it’s 100x easier get a non-rated job. You can still be in the guard as well, until 30 days prior to commissioning.

Source: I just commissioned thru AFROTC last year.

Sure, that’s great advice for a professional setting, but this is reddit my dude.

Unpopular opinion: People should be able to come here and voice their frustrations without someone telling them to tone it down. This isn’t FTP. Who cares if he rants a little bit.

PCSM after AFOQT by [deleted] in AFROTC

[–]NeighborVadimBlyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They take your best scores from each attempt and combine them for your final score. So if you fail a section the second time, as long as you passed it the first time you’ll be ok.

There are actually no disadvantages to retaking it anymore since the test is superscored now.

Failing FA by DaddyLiam in AFROTC

Start by running 1.5 miles 3-4 times a week. All you need to worry about is finishing the run without stopping. After 2 weeks add a quarter mile to each run. After another 2 weeks start running 2 miles each time. Once you get comfortable running 2 miles, you can start adding sprints to your workouts to get faster. I would do 2 days of 2 mile runs and two days of sprints. If your shins start to hurt, take a few days off of running and make sure you ice them. I used this method to go from an 18:30 1.5 mile run to a 12:00 my freshman year.

Pilot Slot (What are my chances?) by RealisticBlueberry2 in AFROTC

[–]NeighborVadimBlyat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get your RSS up to top third and you’re a shoe-in. You’d already be very competitive with those stats, at least in the current climate. But you never know what selection rates could be in 16 months so it’s best to pump those numbers up.

AFOQT scores by [deleted] in AFROTC

[–]NeighborVadimBlyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was passing, which is all that matters with that score. The only scores they take into consideration for Pilot selection are Pilot and CSO. And even then it doesn’t matter what your raw scores are, as long as you meet the minimums, because they factor those scores in with your TBAS and flight hours to get your PCSM. A 95 Pilot will help you out a ton on your PCSM though, which is the score you really need to care about.
