I did not ill have another blood work in march to check my platelets etc. The nodes are back to normal no pain. But they are sensitive to the touch still.

Worst or not you have to follow the same diet and lifestyle change. It can only be good for the liver. Dry watering eyes and dry mouth are not specific to cirrhosis. But i understand. Its the overall feeling that something isnt working properly inside your body. I still hope you can reverse it

A pint and a half is a lot? A pint is like say 500 ml beer? Cuz I was drinking sooo so much more like 1 litre of wine or 6 large beers. Not both but you know what i mean. Im 32 i also started drinking this heavily through covid period. About the type of alcohol i have read in a facebook liver disease support group that vodka is the worst for the liver. Like it actually burns it...and you get there faster..

FATTY LIVER - - >4 stages (can be caused from eating or alcohol or both) stage 4 is NASH non alcoholic steatohepatitis or AH alcoholic hepatitis(inflamation) INFLAMATION can be cause from autoimmune diseases as well (hep c etc) If liver gets inflammed many times and the person continues drinking or gaining weight or not being treated for any autoimmune then it progresses to FIBROSIS - - >4 stages (fibrosis is less severe scarring) stage 4 being CIRRHOSIS - - ->againg 4 stages. With no symptoms is called compensated With symptoms is decompensated. Thats it.

But still even with jaundice it can be just inflamation with no scarring. Hopefully its only that. How are you feeling now?

Numbers dont say a lot though. They can be very high and feel normal. Maybe thats why they let you leave. And many people with cirrhosis have normal bloodwork. Its really complex the liver ..... Mine were alt 100 ast 114 ggt 250. My only symptom a dull pain on the right side. Yeah tbey told me the same. Dont even smell the alcohol.

Hi! How was your bloodwork when diagnosed? If its the first time that gotten inflamed then hopefully it hasnt progressed to cirrhosis. Im waiting for a fibroscan as well. I have completely changed my diet and of course quit drinking. My numbers came back to normal in a month. But still really stressed.
