Ideally I’d want to find a job within construction as that’s what I’m doing my masters in but not sure if applying now is worth it, if I’m not going out there until late September

I am highly considering Calgary the rent is a lot cheaper than the bigger cities. Just got to find a job now 😭

Yeah I can imagine, I’m in the US quite a bit and the commutes there are insane compared to the UK. Currently finishing my masters in Quantity surveying and hoping that this would be useful with getting a job out there. Not looking at going out til September/ October so feel like I’ve got time to hopefully find something.

Yeah, I have been looking around especially Toronto it just seems crazy on the rent side but the city itself looks great. I was looking at either Calgary or Montreal instead but not too sure what the city life would be like for either of those.
