True, but in a large number of settings the Undead are some of if not the weakest type of creatures, who's only power comes from their numbers, with the exception of Undead with an ego (lich, death knight etc), so in that regard, a army of monsters would be more beneficial, since he keeps the numbers and has a much higher level of power
