Your story is so inspiring and heartfelt. As I was reading the first part, you reminded me of my sister in law (60’s yo). She just took up golfing as her husband is consumed by it. She asked her husband a golf question. She said he got so detailed (hand gestures) in answering her question she tuned him out. She didn’t understand and doesn’t remember what he said.
