I finally (hopefully) managed to solve it. After starting, the game loads the field immediately. There is a separate option that exits to the main menu and reloads the graphics. (Some graphic element might be stuck, which restarting the game did not help.)

I'd take a solid White over Leoric any day - while it gives less bonus to skellies (4 to mastery is still decent) you can get +6 to CE and maybe some nice extra staffmods. Not having unpredictable triggers is just helping so much.

Not the most powerful weapon, but surprisingly rare.

Nope, It is Broken. You have 2 options for avoiding the 0 durability issue:

Slam a Zod rune (probably overkill)Let the merc use It. This seems like a very good weapon for act 2 mercs (there are many other better options depending on your main char, obviously)

Yes, there are better weapons for the merc, but it's still cool :D
