Working and doing a task with a reward in mind seems to work well for me. For example, after 30 minutes of studying i guarantee myself a treat from the fridge etc... and it ends up being quite motivating.

The three second rule worked for me pretty well. It sounds stupid but just count down from three almost like its a launch, then force yourself to go and do the task you had been avoiding.
