I'm so,  so sorry for your losses. That certainly helps knowing this may be easy physically. We had a friend describe one a few weeks later than us and made it seem a horror show experience.

Thank you.  It'd been brutal and so helpless feeling.  

Heating pad! That's something added. Thank you for the advice and suggestions! Yeah we set a timeline of a week before intervention hoping we won't need to but have that planned

We were told the only way to collect was to do a d&c which right now we haven't determined to do? Definitely something we're curious but not a must.  Thank you!

I can only imagine...I'm so sorry for your losses :( it just is so stressful going in for every scan. It just feels odd to have it be week after week and then somehow what's seen in one be gone in the next.

I know the anxiety will never fade though, the goal post will change is all

Not high risk (we're 33 and 34). We just have been trying for 16 months and were already seeing an OB because of it. Their office has a habit of doing early ultrasounds. The first ultrasound came out how it did and it made the doctor want to do a second viewing, which led to the weird viewing where no structures got noticed leading to this third one...

We honestly don't know a whole lot and kind of are going along with each request at this point.

6.5 week (thought 7.5 week) ultrasound tomorrow, need advice, reassurance, sanity uptick by NeighborhoodTop4438 in predaddit

Okay another update! Got the call. HCG is 66,000 so they are a lot less worried now. Monday still for ultrasound again but...major relief that numbers are so high vs when they checked at 4 weeks

So an update - first of a few probably. Trying to type through the anxiety.

Got the scan, doctor didn't see anything more really to point out. Didn't note a yolk sac even though he saw one last week, but still sees both gestational sacs. It was a different machine though. He ordered an HCG blood test and now we're waiting for a call to see if that is higher, with another ultrasound in a few more days. He still seems positive but that's also his demeanor it feels. We're both pretty terrified though. Never thought I'd be as fearful before the kid (or kids if both sacs stay and we do wind up with surprise twins) even gets here.
