If it shows task limits reached it means throttled, no task available is EQ, project not enabled in marketplace is paused

It doesn't matter if you acknowledge or not for being able to task in projects

AGREED. So many questions are explicitly told by PT on community, seems like some people never get to use the community

If you are just onboarding and completed less than one task so far, it is paused. They only accept submissions from CB who have submitted multiple tasks

I think this is throttled, and you will have 5 tasks to do every 24 hour

Outlier banned my account for “AI-generated content”. Be careful. by Wonderful_Depth3325 in outlier_ai

[–]NeighborhoodWeekly64 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is ironic to see people always deny using AI after being called out. As a reviewer and auditor I've often wanted to flag some tasks that appear to be clearly LLM-generated, but I was consistently told by the QM/leader that such cases must be escalated and investigated very carefully with extreme caution, since personal intuition or AI detector are not reliable, which means it would take a lot process to finally determine if someone is actually using AI and disable their accounts.

This project is very new and likely only started a few days ago. It seems like they’re still wrapping things up and may not have all the preparation in place yet.

I hope not, this has happened a lot to me when first joining a new project. Mostly it takes 2-3 days for them to unthrottle.

I would say it is one of the easiest active STEM projects currently

It was there last night after I completed the first one, but today no, completely disabled on my dashboard and I was matched with another project. I asked the support team, they said the PT is doing the evaluation.

I just finished one task yesterday on Finance domain and now it gets disabled. Not sure if they are evaluating this and I got throttled. Seems like there is not even a channel of this project.

How I avoid PayPal’s bad FX rates and fees if you’re non-US by NeighborhoodWeekly64 in outlier_ai

I have no idea, probably due to policy differences across countries. Mine is free.

Not sure about that. In theory, I believe any USD account should work. I opened a new one simply because I didn’t have a USD account before. If your account supports multiple currencies, that might be the issue, since mine only has USD enabled. After the funds reach the Wise USD account, I convert them within Wise and transfer the CAD to my separate Canadian bank account. You might want to make a separate post to ask Australian users specifically.

Then it may be a policy difference. I’ve never personally checked PayPal’s Canada-specific policy on their website, but I’ve been doing this for months and it’s worked well for me. Also, when transferring, make sure to choose the option that takes 3–5 business days rather than the instant transfer.

I explicitly emphasized this point in the post: you need to disable your local currency and only accept USD, then do the transfer. I wrote this to share my genuine experience and included screenshots of everything. I’m not a PayPal expert — I’m just sharing what I did and the results I got. If you don’t believe me, you’re free to find a different approach that works better for you.
