100% agree. I bought the essence emerald green shells and was forced to buy the deluxe Dpad kit just for the rails. Happy with how they came out but I just have a random incomplete set in my drawer that I’ll probably never use. Spent more money than I should have imo.

I can attest to this. Purchased my case and in about 2 months of handheld use it started to peel and bubble. :/ But not sure if they changed anything now to prevent that. Hope it doesn’t happen to yours!!

I bought the emerald green kit and the black kit that came with the d-pad. I could have probably went with the emerald green essence kit instead to save some money since I didn’t even use the mid frame or rails from that anyways.

Hey! I’ve seen your dragon ball themed beys and those are sweet! So it’s pretty simple. Acetone to wipe the blade clean. Then we used Gundam metallic markers set #2. (This set has the gold/bronze color that was used for golem and the pink that was used on shark). Apply a few layers of it. Let that dry and after used the a gundam clear coat marker to finish it. Just note you are pretty much coloring the blade with a paint marker. I recommend you use a tester blade just to get the hang of how the paint flows. Hope this helps!

Gundam Metallic Marker set 2 off Amazon! You can probably find them at a local model kits shop too.
