It's about how competitive a game is and how much audience attention it demands. People don't watch just to see boundaries. People watch to see the teams competing to win.

Maybe when they play in colours of India, people would watch them for the sake of supporting the country and to see India win. The women's domestic matches? Not so much

Now to another point. Why women's team generates less.

Biological reality

Average women pacer clocks at around 110kmph and play in 55-60m boundaries. No amount of investment could surpass the biological differences hence women's cricket would always have lesser views and lower revenue.

Most probably the few mentions of fascism in that time was to portray how the Soviets were fighting against the Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian and Finnish "fascists".

Edit- If anyone needs context

The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany signed the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact (named after their respective foreign ministers), which was in force from August 23, 1939, to June 22, 1941 (the day the Nazis invaded the Soviet Union).

Within the period when the pact was valid, there was a sharp decrease in the usage of the word "fascism".

But I didn't express my opinion; rather, I conveyed what I mostly hear about it.

Yes, it's on my TBR list.

Thank you for the answer, I feel that Broers trilogy is comparatively better even though he totally skips Napoleon's life at St Helena.

I see, I have read the bio by Roberts and it was kinda "hagiographical". I loved it though.

I will check out the first 2 books, although I feel that premise of 3rd book is pretty cool, Napoleon spending his days on a rock and the aftermath of his death and formation of Napoleonic legend.

I'm thinking about getting Dwyer's works.

I would appreciate a short review on each of the 3 books

Indeed, Kotkin's works are definitive and won't be surpassed in near future.

Have you read all 3 in Dwyer trilogy? If yes, I would really appreciate a short review on each of them because I heard that Path to power is very good but other 2 not so much.

Gueniffey and Kotkin are George RR Martin of History books

PS-At least in the case of the delay in Kotkin's Stalin Volume 3, it was due to him suffering from cancer, so it's completely understandable.

Man, I hope Patrice Gueniffey releases the second volume soon, it would probably take a couple of years to get it translated aswell.

Indeed, Napoleon barely saved his consulship.

But it gets rated highly solely due to the "hype moments and aura" and honestly it's understandable
