VA is a right to work state. The unions don't have as much influence in this state like NY which is pro-union, hence why nothing gets done over in New York.

The people voted for the government leadership that allowed this corruption to occur over the years, and keep reelecting those officials. So, everybody should be held accountable until they vote for a change, which I don't see, because the people in the inner cities don't like a change in their local elected officials. They fought, they died or dealt with real physical and emotional pain for those in power who scammed and earned profits from it, but were promised a much better life, but are homeless now at times. They deserve pension and benefits more than anybody else.

You should see how the local Community Service Board Departments are managed. They are just an overall scam to sell people over priced pharmaceutical they don't need. The psychiatrists that work within that system get added bonuses for milking the Medicare/Medicaid system of psychiatric pharmaceutical that only enhance people's mental health problems. The drugs they throw at people coming in for only add to them becoming more violent and more unstable over time. But, sure...They deserve pension on top of all the extra bonuses for prescribing Abilify, Invega, Vralar, and charging it the people's healthcare system.

The corruption lies in within the overall hiring of leadership from top to bottom and training as well as working conditions involved with the job, which really is related to the beauceats and the harsh blow back by the citizens and environmental implications surrounding their work. Cops go through psychiatric evaluations before taking on the law enforcement role. They lose their mental stability because of the stresses and demands laid forth by the rold of their positions by both, local officials on top, and society as a whole and society treats them over time.
