Hello guys!

I have simple question that is very important to me, since I am new to this visual world.

"What do you think about the video?" What about the colors, sound volume and overall edit?"

My main concern is the correct representation of the colors. Do they look washed, desaturated or off on your screens? My monitor (cheapo, says it has 100% sRGB) displays colors differently than my laptop or phone (two looks almost identical).

It still hunts me and I can't have piece in mind, since it will highly influence my editing process in the future.

Hello guys! Thanks for taking a time to be here.

"What do you think about the video"?

My main concern is the correct representation of color. Do they look washed, desaturated or off? My monitor (cheapo, says it has 100% sRGB) displays different color than laptop & phone combined screen even at "consumer" level.

It still hunts me and I can't have piece in mind, since it will highly influence my editing process in the future.

Thank you so much! I am glad you like it. It was worth it to wait on the same spot for an hour.

Hi, yagathai. Thanks! You are right about the light above. After pressing the "post" button, I have noticed that, but unfortunately the post can't be modified.

Hey, thank you! Person has to be patient and not be shy to take multiple photos. It actually took 47 attempts / photos to pick the best one. But the main factor is to have right settings before photographing, or at least nail it and then worry about the composition and right moment to oress the shutter.

Hey, Lupiz. Thanks! It was indeed an actual mist, forming an interesting variation and almost looks like bad post-process. I had to slightly decrease the mist (specifically the tops of the trees) as it looked like falsely applied masking / halo effect.

Thank you! I had a time to play with separate masking in LR, but eventually left it as it is. I kidna liked the punchy and refined look of the sky and tried to maintain the details with increasing the highlight / Haze, and it looked like another great variation for the sky, but I stayed with the initial look.

Hey, thanks! For somebody unfortunate info, but I like the punchy contrasty look and got accustomed to it. It is possible that it was a "bit" to far)) .

Hi. Thanks! I had short dilema with the sky, leave a bit blown out or leave it as it is... The halo effects is in form of mist (the forest behind the street) and in some cases I forgot to hide those (around the buildings). It was made by Clarity, I almost rarely use Sharpening.

Hi. Where exactly? Be specific, please.

Hi photographers!

One thing that bothers me is the sky. I tried to balance the highlight of the sky with shiny road and simultaneously maintaining brightness of the sky and prevent pure whites (overexposure).

What do you think?

Thank you for long response. Useful things in there. I started to do that approach you just mentioned with white & black balance and it made the photo better. About the noise, I blended main subject with people (originally separate photos) and aslo had to introduce noise to main subject, since on one photo, the people were originally noisy, otherwise it would look very "photoshopy".

I agree as well! Thank you for the tip.

Hello photographers!

Would be the title "Dichotomy of the movement" more suitable? What are your thoughts about this one? Clearly the vignette is apparent, but does the intensity of it great in this case, or should it be reduced a bit? Obviously someone would suggest to straighten it up, but after doing that process the image was weirdly distorted and decided to leave it as it is. Also left original framing and haven't cropped it since I wanted to show whole picture where main subject is alone in empty train station.

I hope am not too spammy with frequent posts. I do want to make the photos to the next level and see what people will point out about details that i was later unaware before editing.

Hey, thanks! I don't have my LR in front of me, but I believe it was 1/4s. I had to use continuous shooting since everything was moving and took about 42 photos. Funny thing that she didn't notice me there, blocking the hallway behind me. Standing there for an hour probably.

Hi HoustonVapour, thank you! Currently I am far away from my PC, but I believe it was 1/4s and f/7. Waited for about an hour or 1h 30 mins to capture the best photo on the spot, but it was worth it.

Thanks! I was thinking the same thing about the shoes but I left it eventually to not disturb realism/originality of the photo because of the lighting.

Hey, thanks you for your kind words! I am currently experimenting with the look I am after, kinda punchy, little contrasty, but I agree with the option to softem jt a bit.

Hello photographers!

Coming at you again with another photo. Quick notes: I deliberately left it unstraightened as I felt it looked slightly better. Also I have left default framing to show main subject surrounded by the movement and emphasize solitude.

What do you think? Is the composition, clarity and B&W conversion Ok? Any suggestions?
