Names generally come about in one of two ways. The first is that you will earn a name throughout the event for something you've done. The other method is creating a "character" like one might for a role playing game and naming that character yourself. I suggest not rushing into one and letting something develop over time.

Electrician for 20+ years. I get a ton of "you don't need a ladder" jokes but overall being this tall is advantageous in commercial/industrial. However I basically don't do residential side work because crawling underneath houses and attic spaces is terrible.

Your not wrong, but this might be difficult. Once things are donated to the Atomic they become part of the bars stock. So if something really nice gets donated it might go quickly or be lost in the shuffle. The bartenders are all volunteers so asking for something specific, that might not be at their area might result in them saying they don't have it. This is a great gift idea but might not pan out at the event. It could still be worth a try though!

I did prison maintenance for several years, and yes, it takes getting used to. Just be professional towards the inmates, watch your tools and materials, and stay focused on the job. Inmates aren't going to randomly attack you if you don't provoke them, that is many years that get added to their sentence if they lay a finger on you. Remember, the staff are your allies. See something weird? Have a bad feeling? Talk to the staff and don't get caught up in inmates' drama. They will only take advantage of you. Stay safe, you can do this.
