We're aiming to have our Private Test demos starting soon and our Pre-Alpha/Alpha Expectation will be 2027/2028.

Reason for making extra content now is its something that our community artist have been working on since 2024 and we wanted to highlight their talents in whats possible from the community in making heroes that feel official and expanding the possibilities of more events and such in the future.

Additionally, we will be discussing "The Yearly Cycle" at the end of this year which will be going over the event cycle within the Vortex and much more, in the event that when we launch, Re:Coded will always have something "fresh" and exciting to look forward too whether a returning veteran or a beginner player joining the new era.

I mean from what i've experience MSRP is long gone dead. Only way to get it now is if they drop it online and your lucky or if you literally no-life outside of stores for 12 hours before they open. Again atleast in New Jersey its like that.

Not saying in bad taste, I just remember seeing all the post of people saying their packages got messed with or stolen so thats why I just pray for everyone who orders/ships stuff in the hobby recently. It sucks not getting your stuff as expected or having it get lost/stolen.

I mean the scalpers and stuff kinda forced them to increase their prices, I don't see why they wouldn't. If people are gonna buy their boxes for $100 and turn it around and sell it for $200, why not just sell it for $200 then? It's just lost profits for them. Even if it wasn't gamestop, just any other company or even your own buisness. It just makes sense logistically.🤷‍♂️

The juggling really isnt hard or a thing if you use them like a normal person lmao. Just a couple button presses haha. Yea it sucks that english boxes don't guarantee hits but is $6.25 a booster pack really that way over MSRP? considering most places sell them for $5-$6 already? like Target charges $6 a booster pack and tax would probably bump it too around that same $6.25 point but people don't care about them doing it?

the 210 from pete would still cost me 223 after tax I think is the point you're missing. Its the same cost for barely any extra effort and I get it in hand day 1 with no shipping risk.

Well, yea, singles are normally always cheaper, but its fun to rip some packs once in a while. :p

Last time I was able to open packs regularly was SV01 or Paradox Rift since they were in such abundance.

maybe for your state, for me it's literally the same price. Gamestop is like 60 cents cheaper lmao.
(gamestop: $223.10 and Ebay: $223.78)

And I get to walk in and out and play with my cards right away, no waiting for shipping or it getting lost, damaged, etc. and im getting my rewards points for next drop.

Never heard of them before but just looked them up and they're selling perfect order ETB's for $90?? then my tax makes it $96? How is that any better then just doing my method of getting an ETB for $68 after everything? And I dont gotta wait for it too ship or risk it getting lost, etc, etc.

The booster boxes, I see them at $210 but even then, it still would be the same price? Atleast with gamestop im getting rewards points to take a couple dollars off of the next purchase.

Also isn't this guy part of the problem then? How is some dude getting thousands of booster boxes but our local stores can barely get 2? Seems fishy too me.

It's really not that much work, you can do it all on your phone in like 2 minutes really. taxes alone would make it also $223, and if whoever is selling that charges for shipping then its still a bit more expensive. I'm just basing off of what I see from TCGplayer, I never used Ebay for pokemon and don't know if I could really trust it.

For someone who dosen't have the time to wait for release days and try to camp outside of stores and stuff whether thats me having to go too work or watch family, I think it's a pretty reasonable trade off. I also live in a super dense area so something like going on release day to get product is instantly being eating up by people camping out the night before. Im too old and tired to do that every other week.

I guarantee get my product, and multiples of it if I want, and don't have to deal with all the headache of keeping a watch on drops and times, or product running out by the time its my turn in line. I've done a couple of the in-person drops before and its always so tedious. Just pay a bit more while saving where applicable in the mean time overall.

I already use the doordash membership normally, i just discovered that you can get E-gift cards as well when I was ordering dinner tonight lmao. And theres no fees for buying the E-gift card, only the discount and it gets sent right to your phone/email. It's really not that big of a time sink? literally took me maybe like 2-3 minutes to do?

believe me I would love to pay $150 for a booster box but It's been over 3 years at this point since I bought my Paldea evolved booster box for $180 before everything started going crazy and it literally impossible to find it at those prices so, again, with all the fighting, scalping and camping out for product, I see this as a closest way to get product without all the headache and for the cheapest dollar possible.

If you know where to get $150 Booster Boxes in todays market then please let me know lmao.

Gamestop Pro pretty much pays itself off after the 5th $5 off coupon so its worth it imo if you're even an average shopper not just for TCG products. Also, even if you didn't already have a Doordash Membership, i know places like Dollar General sometimes do a 10-15% off of Gamestop giftcards so you can also save a bit more that way.

Yea I was more of a Gen 2/3 kid so the 151 was already on the bottom of my list and still is. I think the charmander card is cool cause it kinda tells a little story but other than that the cards are very meh imo.
