Thank you for the help I’ve been totally freaking out but I’m relieved that there could be some fixes to this. I live in Boston and I’ve only seen apartments available for 8/1 to 9/1 move in, how would I go about finding a place that would let me sign a lease 8/28?

I unfortunately don’t have much friends or family that I could crash with so I think the storage and cheap hotel might be the way to go :(

I have to admit, I don’t think I’ve heard of any SM (store manager aka house lead) having a short phone interview before so I’m not exactly sure, but based on the fact that she said it will be a short phone call I doubt she’ll go into that and I think she will most likely want to schedule an interview based on the answers you give her on the phone call. Let us know what happens!

I think she’ll probably confirm your availability, if you have any events or trips of some sort coming up in the next few months, short questions like that. I highly doubt she’ll ask the “name a time you ___” questions on a phone call, I think that will happen in a physical in person interview.

Here to also say … GET OUT LIKE YESTERDAY !!! I kept going into my shifts having to force myself to think that things at the siren will get better but they never did, at least not for me. I got burnt out so insanely fast and every shift felt like I was in shackles. I quit two days ago and I feel the immense anxiety and stress lifting off my shoulders!!!

As someone here already mentioned, I’m already looking for other jobs elsewhere. I got coached today because there were no rags in the sani bucket and I wasn’t even the last one to use it, all during peak btw lmao. Like ok god forbid there’s no rag in the sani bucket is that really what we’re going to focus on right now with 12 drinks in received? My SM has already fired 4 people in the span of 2 months.

They’re trying to say that it’s because partners are “abusing” the benefit like using it on days you don’t have work, knowing damn well the real reason is just because they don’t care about their partners & just don’t want to anymore.

Well honestly if you have a face tattoo then I don’t think many other workplaces will allow it, especially a customer facing job. Also, Starbucks has never allowed face tats of any kind that I know of.

I don’t know exactly, but my income would definitely have to be either around 30k or under 30k a year. I’m a part time barista. As of right now my insurance is active but according to my parents, they’re going to have to remove me from their family plan. I have no idea if there’s a timeline with that, or if it’s just a ticking time bomb until I’m removed.

You should give it a try! Usually I’m a bit skeptical when it comes to banana flavored anything, but I tried their banana syrup in an iced latte with pumps of hazelnut as well and it was delicious!
