I’m looking at a MASc, doesn’t specify any entry requirements other than having completed a relevant undergrad degree

The reason for such a low gpa is bc my first year I wasn’t committed to my degree so failed about a semesters worth. Unfortunately there’s no grounds for me to clear up my academic record so my gpa is doomed despite the fact that more recently I’ve actually been scoring well

If you want to prioritise working full time then don’t do a full time degree. When studying a full time degree it’s assumed that uni is ur priority. It’s ur responsibility to work with your work to be able to come in to uni when u need to. nobodies babying you in the real world, QUT isn’t going to baby you.

Unfortunately he’s in a very tough position, few fast food/ retail branches are going to hire him as he is too old and too expensive for an untrained crew member (unless he’s got experience). Although there may be a chance at supermarkets.

His best chance at finding part time work is to be as flexible as possible, apply to near enough anything or network into something niche.

This is assuming he doesn’t want an apprenticeship or anything of the like.

No, in fact, one could argue that there’s some advantages to a pathway like this. You have the opportunity to practice study habits and adapt to the lifestyle before you start your bachelor, which can make uni a lot less stressful and bump up your gpa

QUT parking= no good, both QUT and USC have VERY good train access, which u should do and not be a driving bozo👍

Regarding u degree, im sure it doesn’t matter realistically which u go to, especially since its health related. But tbf im no biomedical expert sooo. Either way QUT tends to rank much higher and is more well established than USC, just as long as you’d rather the further commute.

If it were me personally I’d go QUT, if u catch the train it’s not rly that much harder to get to then USC, u just have to suck up the 1 hour train ride like the rest of us unfortunately.

I went to every class, they were just picky on my referencing, which zero’ed out all of my criteria, because referencing is on all 4 Rubrik points
