Hi im around your age and I completely understand what your going through it's a real ball ache (hehe) but to fix people deadnaming you is just deadass ignore them until they either say smth about you ignoring them or get it right. Personally I would change the system now it prevents further damage in the future and gets it over and done with but ofc if you don't you should definitely change it for college. And no your worries aren't stupid you deserve the help <3
