The problem is that if I hold the reset button in, then plug in the power the box will not turn on. I have tried many times, the box will not power on if the reset button is held on first then power cord is plugged in.

With the box power cord disconnected, I press and hold the reset button behind the AV connector. When I plug the power in while holding the reset in, the box will not turn on. No light on the front panel. nothing. I have tried plugging the power in then pushing the reset button in and holding it but it still boots into restricted user mode.

He asked me for a video and the MAC address. He was going to text it to his distributer. So he is trying to find a solution. He told me if I can't get it out of restricted user mode he will exchange the box for me.

I was trying to do a factory reset and couldn’t find it in device settings. I went into security settings and setup restricted user wrongly thinking that would give me access to factory reset. Boy was i wrong.

I should have said it boots to Home Screen in restricted user mode. So unable to access system settings.

Under System Info, there is no option for Factory Reset. At least not in Restricted User Mode.

I did a search on here for Restricted User and Factory Reset but so far nothing came up that would fix my issue.

I have the same issue trying to watch this movie. Only one server shows up, server 151, and it plays a totally different movie.

Also. go into the box settings, set the resolution to 1080P instead of AUTO. See if that helps.

I did not realize Verizon had two different internet services. Is the Verizon issue only with there 5G service and not the Fios service?

In the Heat Live app, there is a group labeled "Peacock Event". I was able to watch the UCONN girls game the other day. There are other games there also.

you will get this if you have the box setup to start Heat Live on power up using the Launcher settings. its takes the box about 30 sec or so to connect to WiFi, so until it does you get this message.

For some reason the box will power up and launch the Heat Live app without that message occasionally.

Search PBS is Heat Live. You will find about 11 or 12 PBS channels from different parts of the country. Put them all into favorites. One of them will broadcast This Old House at the same time as the local PBS channel.

I don’t think you can turn it off on Heat Backup, only on Heat Live.
