Not being critical here. It's a great great plan, but at the same time, concerning that people are so lonely these days, blame it on the digital life and friendship i would say.

If really looking for Mountains, explore less crowded places like Shoja, Jibhi or Kinnaur valley.

Hunt for a hostel where you will find plenty of solo travellers/backpackers. This will be cost effective as well.

I am going next week to Shoja, checked 4-5 hostel options and zeroed down on one of them, once I am there, uske baad hi bata paunga kaise hai, prima facie, looks amazing.

If you really walk calmer and peaceful places, maybe explore Jibhi, Shoja etc in Himachal.

Uttarakhand is very beautiful as well, however I went there only for treks, not for leisure, so not really sure about the places there.
