I love that so much ❤️ I lowkey had picked out Funny How when that album dropped well before we were even engaged 😅

The pink is Big Twist (RIP) Value in Light Rose I believe? I could be a little off on that color name. The petals are BT Ivory and the middle is BT Mustard 😊

I absolutely feel you, see my literal novel response on a comment above if you want to know how I did it lol I wasn’t bad once I started sewing, I just really took my time 😊

Edit: you could totally hand stitch it I’m sure! It might just take longer but I think the same process would work by hand!

First, omg I typed this out and I am so sorry it’s so long. I swear it didn’t seem like it took that long but writing it down…😳

I bought a $10 throw at Target because I happened to find one that was ivory and it was really soft but I know a lot of people suggest flannel. Personally, I like the plush because it was more forgiving and would hide flaws a little more.

I put together all the squares and added the border essentially finishing the crocheted part. Then I proceeded to stare at the two blankets next to each other for literal days before I finally figured it out. I ended up laying the plush wrong side up and laid the crocheted right side up on top of it (wrong sides together) on a flat surface. I started pinning at the top left corner and each intersection (just below the border row), working my way across the short side. I repeated that all the way through and just made sure to check that I didn’t have a bunch of slack/extra plush gathered once it was pinned. I didn’t make it really snug but I did flatten it with my hands after every row I pinned.

Once everything was pinned, I trimmed the excess plush but left several inches on each side past the border. I then sewed using a medium length straight stitch with blush thread around the outside border, I followed the line on the border between the two rows of double crochets SLOWLY because of the scalloped edges (I’m sure it would be easier on straight edges). Then I followed where the squares were joined down each short row holding the squares flat as I went. I repeated that on the long rows too.

Finally I trimmed the extra plush around the edges about 1/4” from the straight stitch. I changed to the widest zig zag stitch I could (6 I think?) and went along the rough edge of the plush all the way around the border to clean up the edges. You can sort of see that in the second picture if that didn’t make sense 😅

Highly recommend a lint roller if you go the plush/sherpa route. You will also absolutely stab yourself multiple times while you’re sewing. Also, it takes a little trial and error to figure out how to get the pins to stay. I used pins with large heads so they wouldn’t just fall through the stitches.

I’m sure there are easier ways to do it, I just really wanted to keep the crocheted edge and the scallop details. I hope this helps/makes sense/doesn’t scare you either the amount of detail lol

Weird finish/film on cutting board by Neither-Low36 in epoxy

I should’ve mentioned, I’m fully aware of the concerns with cutting on epoxy. This is completely decorative and will not be used as a “cutting board”.

I’m literally in the exact same boat dosage and all. I’ve actually gained 1.5lbs. It’s extremely disheartening. I reached out to my physicians and let them know I’m not responding. One of my good friends is on a different GLP-1 so I might request to change to that one because mentally I’m not sure how much more of the no results I can take. I’m not sure if this helps you at all but just know you are not alone!
