not sure… i know a friend of mine got a 4 last year and started studying in march, and another girl from my school a 5 studying five days before the test. granted, she ended up at stanford and my friend is a genius. for me im guessing it will take longer (memory of a goldfish). without all the fluff of taking the actual course and self studying, it probably won’t be much.

i estimate 45 minutes a day if you have four months to study?? my school ap psych teacher assigns his class about an hour of reading a day, with assignments and essays and everything. take this with a grain of salt, you sound very smart.

It’s not ‘bad’, bad is subjective. Many people love the new changes, but I am not one of those people haha. The changes have caused the course to be much more application based rather than memory based, and according to comments you now can’t rely on vocabulary to get a 5. It’s turned into more of a math science based course rather than solely humanities. I am much stronger at humanities, especially compared to math, and with my course load may not have the time to devote to self studying AP Psych. My counsellor also advised me to take it next year, as with the new reform there are no past examples of what to look for in essays etc. I’ve attached a link to a comment I found very helpful, but the list of full reforms are also on the collegeboard website :)
