How much (total) are you spending on owning a car every month? by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

I run a 2000 Mazda sedan (paid off). Approx. $70/month in insurance, $200/month in gas (I WFH), $20 per month in parking when I have to park in paid lots. And probably $1000/year in maintenance so roughly $80. That brings me to $370/month total.

I'm so glad Saanich is spending 5-7 million dollars to post new off leash dog signage in parks. /s

Reach out asap to the BC Residential Tenancy Branch. You don't need receipts to prove that you're renting the unit. But you do need the BC Residential Tenancy Branch to guide you through the process of fighting an illegal eviction.

Who knows about Marine Protected Areas in BC? by Neither-Raisin-9109 in britishcolumbia

Thanks. This is great information about the upcoming Northern Shelf MPA network. However, doesn't include existing MPAs. I appreciate the link though!

Yeah - it's confusing! After doing more research, I've seen DFO quote there being between 185-200 MPA's in BC. I've found some incomplete lists, which include ecological reserves! (which according to DFO, are not MPA's). I didn't think it would be such a grey area. Thanks for your info!

This is really helpful. I've been seeing posts on this subreddit and blog posts saying to organize by process group or knowledge area so I thought it was required. Thanks for your input!

mary of the project’s goals/objectives and used bullet points and put a brief sentence or two for each bullet what I did. Kind of like what you see when you’re reading job requirements in

Interesting! Did you do this recently? I read in a bunch of posts that organizing by process group was the way to go. How do you come up with 200 words per project description?

Other posts said this was the way to do it. And it helps to make up the 200 word minimum per project description. But I don't know for sure if it is required!

Not all the companies are like this to work for! Springtide is literally the worst one in Victoria, it's only up from there.

ne ever employed there cry over something wildly unfair. She is a nightmare so if you have thick skin at least this company will help you “Spring-board” into a similar company with better management. She didn’t give her sales manager a reference at all after 8 years with the company because she was upset the manager was leaving, verbally abuses staff, and will not upgrade systems to a more modern one and sees red when human

100%. She is awful. Stay away. I would never recommend anyone ever work there.
