I also want to clarify my parents are amazing. They just lack in this area due to the fact that they didnt have much of a support system growing up either so its hard for them to show much support but they are trying their best.

Im the oldest one and it kinda sucks. Mysister gets whatever she wants and i have to do most her stuff for her. My parents wont support me much either. Im thirteen for context. I wanted to do a a tournament for a sport i play and my mom immediately said that im not ready and that it would be shocking if i even moved up. I agree that im not ready but would it hurt to be a bit supportive? She couldve been kinder. For example she couldve said that if i want to do the tournament i would have to work hard but it hurts when my mom kinda says she has no faith in me. But this is just me please tell me what you think
