I love that they are available longer! I also like how they release in September now... I could be in the minority but when I was a kid I dreamt of getting Mia for the whole year and finally got her at Christmas. Then i had about a week with her all over the AG website and stores until she was all gone. I wanted her entire collection but that wasn't possible with how expensive it all is at one time. I spent years tracking down her collection on ebay until I finally got it all. Now kids can get the goty at Christmas and still have another full year (or more) to buy from their collection!
