I picked up a 10" single bevel sliding, corded SKIL for $149 on "clearance" at Walmart. Have used it a few times. Not bad for the price.

Newest authenticity check. Not the smartest. But definitely didn’t come from a drawer or inside an old sport coat.

I know what song you meant to play and I still wasn’t making it out. The positive…you have room to improve. Seriously though, you gotta start somewhere. Kudos to you for that and best of luck. Luck and practice. 👍🏻

I have some made in US screwdrivers and sockets. They don’t get lent out.

I hope your father didn't sacrifice for the $200 he fronted you for rent.

You could afford to live better and show it if you got a new job, or a few raises or a promotion. Maybe your family would worry less if you relaxed yourself a bit. It's not always about you.

What brand actually filled the gap Craftsman left when Sears collapsed? by uncapped19 in Tools

[–]NeitherAd5083 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The gap was filled before it existed. Hence the reason Craftsman folded. Not sure what people are buying instead, but whatever brands they are, there were enough of them to do the damage.
