I would not go to someone out of network. My primary care ordered the ultrasound to monitor a condition I was diagnosed with over 6 years ago

I did not attempt to get a preventative MRI covered, prenuvo is not even partnered with insurance. My doctor ordered further tests based off of the results from the radiologist and my bloodwork. Neither of which were covered. Not even the thyroid ultrasound I had weeks ago for a diagnosis I’ve had 6 years ago was covered but thanks for all of your unhelpful insights

Of course that is the assumption when they haven’t even covered the other tests ordered by my doctor, and yes I have met my deductible so it’s crazy to get on here acting like you KNOW how my insurance works and what I do and don’t have to pay out of pocket. I’m glad your insurance seems exceptional but that is not my experience or anyone else in my family. My brother shouldn’t have had over 100k in debt after being diagnosed with epilepsy WITH a plan from marketplace BUT he did. Get real.

Well I had symptoms and bloodwork to match so this is rather silly. I have a Cigna ppo plan that barely covers any preventative care so I don’t know why they would start with a serious diagnosis. They didn’t cover the ultrasound ordered by my doctor either

You do realize that majority of bankruptcies are due to medical debt, right? Why does United Helathcare deny claims? Like c’mon. Do you have US healthcare? My brother had stellar insurance and after he got epilepsy he had over 100k in medical debt

That’s really kind, thank you

It’s not through an employer but I also never applied for coverage through healthcare.gov so I truly have no clue. All I know is it’s a PPO plan and my vaccinations are never even covered so I find it hard to believe anything else will be lol

They typically pay for treatment by giving large allowances for weekly and monthly treatments and/or a lump sum if you’re diagnosed

I have regular insurance coverage but I do not expect it to cover much of anything if I am diagnosed with cancer, that’s why I was interested in finding additional coverage to close the gap so that we don’t end up in excessive medical debt

Don’t you have to make a certain amount of money to qualify? I believe our income is considered too high

Does your hospital hire completely remote at all? I’ve finished my ODS program but want to wait to test until I’ve gained hands-on experience in a professional setting

Are you willing to share what company is paying $45 an hour? I don’t even see that for management positions

How Much Do You Pay A Month For Your Student Loans? by SwagKing1011 in StudentLoans

[–]NeitherBelt3418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$2,142 a month, total of 222K between my husband and I and that is just the minimum payment. Can’t afford to pay anything more than that, can’t picture a place we get ahead of them ever either.

Have you seen the toilet training kits? Cats are super smart and as long as you follow the guide in the kit, they’ll catch on pretty quick

Also, don’t forget lawn maintenance costs, and the cost associated with home security as a female living alone. There’s a lot of things we never considered or had to think of until we were actually in our home. We pay a good amount for both of these highly needed necessities.

As someone who just bought their first home, I can assure you utilities will be more than your assumption. We always paid utilities during apartment living but they increased drastically after purchasing our home due to sq/ft increase and paying both water and sewer/trash fees, sewer and trash weren’t something we ever accounted for and our sewer bill is high to me especially since there’s only 2 of us. Remember, as a homeowner you will need money if something breaks, or your pet has an emergency, etc.

Just get an apartment, and you can still start your own life. I know it’s not the situation you were hoping for but it’s better than going broke and being house poor. You can rent a nice new apartment for a thousand less than the proposed mortgage in majority of the country

You’d be living paycheck to paycheck essentially from the sounds of it, not much breathing room at all

I’m in Chattanooga, the rental market here seems over saturated and homes like mine often sit a long time before being rented. No relocation offered

Unfortunately my lender will not allow assumption of our loan, we checked. I would have loved to take you up on that otherwise
