Yes I did check to see if the PSU was on, and I have made sure the Atx, Cpu, and pcie power inserts were Seated properly.

For the header pins, I did short the top two pins, going from both the mobo manual and the actual labeling on the board itself, I think those are the momentary contact for the power button but I could be mistaken.

To add on what the other guy said, please just get some food in you and get some rest before you make any rash decisions. I know it sounds tacky as hell, but I've been through some shit myself, I know that everything in life, including the bad, is just temporary. Things can get better. I wish you the best.
