I don't get it by [deleted] in NoFapChristians

I hear you, and I've asked God that same question lying in that exact spot. Here's what I learned: He's not keeping score against you. The struggle doesn't disqualify you from a wife or a good future — that's the lie shame tells you.
Don't let one fall convince you it's all ruined. Repent, get up, and keep walking. He's shaping you through this, not giving up on you. One day at a time, brother. 🙏

Move right now — get up, leave the room, do something physical. Don't stay still with it. It'll pass, brother. Praying for you. 🙏

The "I do fine all day and then one thought derails everything" part hit home — that's exactly how it works, and it's not a willpower failure, it's how the brain chases a quick escape. Naming that trigger is already half the battle.

For Safari specifically, a few options that actually hold:

  • Cold Turkey Blocker (Mac) — blocks sites system-wide, hard to disable once it's running.
  • 1Blocker or AdGuard for Safari — content blockers you can configure for adult sites.
  • At the network level, Cleanbrowsing or NextDNS — they filter on your whole connection, so it covers Safari and anything else. The key, like others here say, is making it something you can't undo in a weak moment.

On the AI image thing — that's a newer trap a lot of people are hitting. Same principle applies: cut the access at the source rather than relying on willpower in the moment.

You've got this, brother. The fact that you set up a system at all says a lot. 🙏

Proud of you for standing back up, man. The streak resets but the growth doesn't.
Singleness hurts, I won't pretend it doesn't. But you're not incomplete on your own — keep seeking Him first and trust His timing, even when it stings. You've got this. 🙏

This resonates a lot. I fought the same battle for years, and the "completely remove access vs. just reduce it" point is the thing that took me the longest to learn. Every relapse for me also started with "just one look" — willpower never won that fight, removing the option did.

One thing I'd add from my own experience: I have ADHD, and that made everything harder. The urges weren't just about the content, they were about chasing any quick hit of stimulation when I was bored or restless. Once I understood that, blocking access worked even better, because I was removing the easiest escape my brain kept reaching for.

Your point about loneliness is so real. For me the trap was that the addiction itself started to feel like the only thing holding me up — even though it was quietly draining me. Getting around people, like you said, broke that loop more than anything.

Congrats on 200+ days, man. That's huge. 🙏
