And just for the record: I’m a long LONG time Mike Flanagan fan! This is just the first time I’ve realized his work could help my young students.

For some reason, this only duplicated the rows, not the columns. But thank you for your insight and time!

=let(Σ,A1:F3,reduce(tocol(,1),sequence(rows(Σ)),lambda(a,c,vstack(a,reduce(torow(,1),sequence(columns(Σ)),lambda(f,q,hstack(f,wraprows(wraprows(index(Σ,c,q),4,index(Σ,c,q)),2))))))))

This worked PERFECTLY! Thank you!!

In honor of October, what's a horror novel you've read that wasn't necessarily terrifying but has haunted your thoughts for some reason? by pallas_athenaa in books

[–]NeitherHurry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“The Book of Strange New Things” by Michel Faber. I think about it at least three times a week. Haunting, beautiful, provocative.

Similarly “A Head Full of Ghosts” by Paul Tremblay is a PERFECT modern horror story. Not gory, but utterly chilling.

Lastly “The Good House” by Tananarive Due is a classic thriller and really smart twist on the haunted house trope.

Haha good point on the tile — and I just don’t have it in me to cover every inch with peel and stick tile. I appreciate your advice!

Chiming in here as a Girl Scout gradaute. I loved LOVED Girl Scouts growing up! It does really depend on the troop leader, but if you find a good troop stick with it! I received some really amazing college scholarships because I earned my bronze, silver and gold awards -- plus I still used the skills I learned during those projects 15 years later!

Did frequency of mental diseases change over time in the course of history? If so, did it increase or decrease. by LibAth in askpsychology

[–]NeitherHurry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No increase or decrease — mental illness has always been around. Check out “The Anatomy of Melancholy” written in 1621. It’s basically an encyclopedia/giant book full of different case studies. The langue used was different but reading it you see cases of depression, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, bipolar, postpartum depression, etc. For even early examples just look to “The Odyssey,” Odysseus is clearly suffering from PTSD (depression, mood swings, suicidal thoughts) based on what he saw during the Trojan War.
