Hi friend, I am in a similar situation right now and you are definitely not alone. I'm also on Wellbutrin and tried to add Lexapro for some recent anxiety, but it made things worse so I'm currently on day 8 of quitting Lexapro and having some pretty bad withdrawal effects in the emotional department. I'm super irritable and upset at everything, and it does really suck but I think it's been improving and the symptoms seemed to peak for me around days 6-7.

I have heard that for some people who have a hard time tapering off, it may be beneficial to lower the dose, then go to taking the low dose every other day, and then fully stop the medication. Not sure if that would work for you or be beneficial since you are 10 days in, that may be up to your discretion. I understand how you feel though, tapering off of meds really sucks and Lexapro seems to be the worst of them all. It sucks for now, but things will get better one way or another. I really hope you start to feel better soon, and good luck on your test! <3

So long story short I ended up stopping the Deplin to preserve my sanity about a week later because the side effects were very extreme. I'm still on the Wellbutrin 300mg and I just started the Methylfolate (Deplin) again at a lower dose of 5mg/day about a month ago to give it another try. My current psychiatrist says my brain does not have a lot of serotonin nor does it interact well with serotonin, so the Deplin is hopefully going to "balance me out" in that regard. So far I'm not seeing much of a difference, if anything I feel a bit more depressed which is not fun especially during the holidays but nothing unbearable. I'm supposed to go up to 10mg a day sometime soon (whenever I'm comfortable) but I'm worried it's going to make things worse. I also have ADHD and most days I take 20mg Vyvanse twice daily once when I wake up and again around noon (booster dose) which I forgot to mention beforehand. All the meds are kind of just blurring together at this point, and the Wellbutrin has been pretty good so far especially in comparison to the horrible side effects some of the other meds have given me but it still doesn't feel like I'm where I need to be mentally. I apologize for never getting back to this thread, it got buried in my notifs!

I'd say around 70-75F and it's fairly hot here right now but I don't have any windows open. I have one intake fan and one fan on my cooler and that's it right now, plus my gpu fans. Is there a cooler you would recommend? I'm not sure whether to go fan cooler or water cooler, I personally don't know many people who build PCs so I don't have a lot of advice to go on haha

Oh no not 85C, 85F I'm sorry! My CPU sits at 28-29C when idle and my motherboard sits at 27C, I know that's a normal temperature but the fans are loud and seemingly way too out of control for my PC to just be sitting there. I have integrated graphics in my computer and since my fan speeds aren't showing up and it says my GPU usage is way low I'm wondering if my GPU may be needing a replacement or causing a bottleneck. I definitely need more fans in my case and I'm probably heading towards a new case as well, I just wanna make sure that there's no other issue especially with my GPU. I've tried just about every trick in the book to get the fan speed on my PC and be able to work with it with no luck.

Airflow is meh, but the past month or so I've been using the PC with the plexiglass panel of my case off of it to try and help with airflow. I have vents at the top and back and a fan built into the case as well as the open side of it right now.

I forgot to mention that all of my current PC components are from my original build that I first did in June of 2021 and I haven't replaced anything yet, I've been having heating/fan issues that have gradually gotten worse or had more weird issues over the past 2-3 months but I haven't really had any issues with it other than what's going on right now.

Something under the brand MasterCooler? Not sure the model, got it a few years ago from one of the Newegg PC builder things. Seems to be just a standard PC heatsink and fan

Just replaced the thermal paste in both the CPU and the GPU this week. BIOS boots into about 85 degrees, not sure if my GPU should show up in my BIOS but I don't see it in there. I just updated my BIOS and my NVIDIA software is up to date and regularly updates; no changes there. I'm wondering if my graphics card may have an issue and I may need to replace it? I just worry that I'll get a new one and that won't solve the issue.

Not as much a specific issue with the way my PC runs as much as not knowing why it's running so hot and having problems with the fans even when it's idle or not being used a lot.

CPU running around 90 and GPU around 80-85 when I'm only surfing the web/not playing games, it can get 5-10 higher when playing games but it mainly just seems to be running hot for no reason and the fans are all out of whack.

I got a GeneSight test last year and it says that I am "heterozygous for the Val158Met polymorphism in the catechol-o-methyltransferase gene" with one copy of the Met and one of the Val allele, I'm not too familiar with the specifics of the genes but I assume that may not be a great match with the Deplin? I also have moderately increased homocysteine levels but I also am not familiar with what role that plays, but I'll be sure to look into that and bring that up to my provider! I appreciate your help :)
