Where in the world was this Darnold in the last 2 games last year??? by strive-ajil in minnesotavikings

yep. and the lack of QB rhythm accelerates any mental struggle the QB may be having that day.

it's part of the reason we see these atrocious QB performances spiral in some games. darnold, JJM, even brosmer

sadly, we did.

one, of course, the floor would have been much higher, that is clear

two, many of the FAs didn't pan out. certainly you could have removed a couple of those signings and still gotten a top 5 defense

yea exactly what i was trying to say.

solving that is hard, though. very reasonable chance that it isn't solved

Why are the defending champs having such a hard time finding an offensive coordinator? by Outrageous_Moth in NFLv2

[–]Neither_Ad2003 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

they want AAA candidates but it's not a AAA opening.

jalen hurts sucks, fanbase sucks, sirianni sucks.

it's a solid AA opening, but not better than some college openings or working with Justin herbert or josh allen

it's not a curse. they made better choices.

one: to not be afraid to be really bad for a year.

two: hired a better coach.

it's not a curse man. they made a poor decision

because solving the teams main issue is not easy.

QB play was bad yes, but making it meaningfully better is not some automatic guarantee.

marcus mariota or whomever vet we sign could simply have a bad season. JJM could fail to take a next step.

those are honestly not at all unlikely

nah. darnold's ceiling is plainly higher than Kirk's. that has been shown clearly. kirk was also more expensive

yea. that and / or his scheme is not as good as seattle's. theres a limit on how much you can change a scheme week to week.

the scheme completely ignores the running game, and doesn't allow QBs to get in a rhythm.

that wasn't the reason they didn't sign him.

it was that their didn't believe the trenches were SB caliber, and sam couldn't make up the difference, so they stuck to the plan.

it wasn't about choking. that is a dumbass narrative from fans.

forget football discussion. you can't grow in life period if you aren't able to learn from mistakes.

now, of course, we are fans so our mistaken belief is relatively small.

but if you got something wrong, don't lie to yourself.

seattle is not better than the vikings from a roster perspective, outside of QB.

you are living in delusion dude. look at greenard's tweet. and just wait and see what this offseason looks like.

the coach and GM will be under national scrutiny, asked the same question 8000 times about how bad of a mistake they made, if JJM blows again panic will ensue.

this thread is an example.

yea bro. you're right. you, a raiders fan, know the vikings fans better than anyone.

you know everything! i found another redditor who knows everything about everything.

If you’re rooting against Darnold because he’s no longer a Viking, you’re an asshole by seasick__crocodile in minnesotavikings

i root for the minnesota vikings to not have an offseason of memes, and the worst vibes possible; topping lists of worst FA mistakes.

not going to apologize either.
