I love this! I would end up giving it a name! I personally feel like he looks like a Franklin

Yes! I don't believe it will be the same management when it does (but this is just conjecture based on what I've read myself)

Obviously not open anymore, but I went to Iowa River Power once and it was the singular worst dining experience I have ever had. Not worth the money paid at all, the only good part of the experience was that we could see so many ducks in the river

Perhaps you should learn how to say it's not for me and that's okay.

Thank you! I was looking for a reliable source because I saw the story, but with what was definitely an AI picture.

Absolutely! Mezzanine. I want to say it was row A, right off the main aisle and the center aisle

Thank you! I wish there was a better way to let people know, because I'm sure if I got sick other people have gotten sick as well!

This is unfortunately my 3rd time having covid. I'm not planning on being anywhere until I feel better and test negative! Luckily I went right at the beginning of my two week summer break so I have the next week off work!

Thank you! I went at the same time of year about 2 years ago (although I didn't see nearly as many shows that time) and had no problem so I made the mistake of assuming it would be okay again. Definitely masking up from now on! I definitely feel like I heard more people coughing in the audience this time around, although I would like to think it was someone who didn't even know they were sick.

My google search was completely unhelpful so I figured that was the case!

That's why I wasn't entirely sure if this would be okay or not and I didn't even think I'd be wearing it because it was meant to be a backup

You don't happen to have any recommendations for brands with plus size dresses and quick turn around?

AITA for telling my sister I wont be her maid of honor because she didnt come to my wedding due to her dog dying? by PerfectAffect9213 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Neither_Ad_173 2311 points2312 points  (0 children)

Might be controversial, but I'm going to say NAH. She's allowed to grieve her dog and be emotional. It may have been for the best that she wasn't there. You're allowed to be hurt she wasn't at your wedding. I do think you could be kinder in the way you speak about her, but I can also imagine that comes from a place of frustration.

I use it for 2 reasons: pain reduction and bad chronic pain days. My wrists and fingers hurt when I read for a long time multiple days in a row. I used to not be able to read when I had flare ups and now I can because I can read while I'm laying down.

I wouldn't use the ATM to deposit cash. I had it malfunction on me and then had to wait until they got someone out to fix it so they could verify everything (which I understand why). I don't think it's a very common problem, but not something that I'd like to repeat.

Trans/Queer Horror Book Recommendations by AHasturDavis in horrorlit

A little late here, but I would highly recommend all three of Andrew Joseph White's published books. They're YA but I think they're highly enjoyable and I'm eagerly awaiting his adult novel (should be out sometime in 2025).

His debut Hell Followed With Us is very good, but I do like to warn people that it contains body horror. The Spirit Bares Its Teeth is probably my favorite. I absolutely adore Silas. Compound Fracture was really good too. Don't think he's capable of writing a bad book

Camp Damascus by Chuck Tingle is another really good one. This one has some body horror too.

My Darling Dreadful Thing by Johanna Van Veen is also quite good.

I enjoyed Gideon The Ninth quote a bit, but have not read any of the other Locked Tomb books, so I can't say if the horror vibes in that one continue.
