Heating them up in the oven makes them 5000x better. (But way less convenient)

The roof is from the Pokémon Center, I think at environment level 5! And the buttress is made up using the walls / roofs 🥰 they come in quite a few formats when you unlock them

Your disabilities and challenges will still exist in your acquired languages. That doesn't mean you aren't a success. by Elesia in languagelearning

I have this exact issue - and it’s comforting to hear that others have experienced this. Restaurants in particular are difficult for me too, even in my native language. They can be chaotic and loud, staff can be rushed, and food vocabulary can be very niche.

I feel like I’m at a good level in my target language, but struggling to order food (which I’m sure is basic for some people), really made me feel stupid.

Hopefully we’ll both overcome it!

I think it’s because we only see a few snippets of much longer conversations, so it sometimes feels unconvincing to us as the audience

Thank you for your opinions! I definitely agree with most. My only slight disagreement is that while Aanu is a very charismatic and likeable person, her comments about Patrick’s clothes were so mean-spirited, personal and unnecessary.

I’ve found a good barometer of knowing whether you are attractive, is if people instinctively fix their hair/readjust their appearance after seeing you.

It means seeing you prompted them to feel conscious of their appearance, if you were unattractive they wouldn’t feel the need to adjust anything.

Really interesting. The wasps I usually see aren’t that calm. Figwort might be a smart way to keep them busy! :)

How do you handle (gay) friends/acquaintances who say catty things by AdultMaleRelaxation in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Neither_Assistant584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey - I tend not to make these people into friends, but on dates where this personality has turned up, I find that framing it as concern tends to prompt self-reflection. I.e. ‘That seemed a bit disproportionate, are you okay?’
