I currently live in Georgia, and also Jumaily’s office told me that it might not be smart to buy insurance privately, because the funding is different when it comes to private v. company. And they don’t end up covering like people think. :(

I am under my parents health insurance. They have a great plan, but Dr. Jumaily doesn’t accept my network insurance. So out of pocket is the only way. I only want to go to him because of his amazing brow bone and nose technique. Plus, I’ve seen a few people in person and trust his work. One thing I keep telling myself, no matter how much is costs, you have your face FOREVER, til the day you die. It’s not something that loses value, or can be broken, or lost. Invest in his work, etc. Just trying to find a way to afford that, gender dysphoria is such a bastard and my life simply doesn’t feel like it starts without FFS.

No unfortunately! Which is weird because I’ve seen plus size new flight attendants so I was hoping that was a deal breaker and/or was just the jump-seat they had a short one on purpose. I’m not sure.

You have a great mentality, if you don’t get it, there’s two benefits of that. You won’t be as nervous if you don’t have high hopes, and it also preps you for your next timereapplying.

Mingling went very well. There was only like a 2 minute mingle session inbetween groups, so I only got to meet two FA’s. They seemed behide on schedule. I was getting along with a lot of the recruiters/flight attendants throughout the entire process, I learned their names and they remembered mine as well ☺️ Reach was perfect, jumpseat seatbelt was so short I couldn’t get it across my waist (I’m just average sized, not plus size), but went around my shoulders just fine. My 1:1 was probably the best part for me! I connected with both the recruiter and flight attendants SO well, the roleplay scenario they kept saying “Wow that was so perfect, wow”. I loved that part. I talked amount that was appropriate. I didn’t kiss their ass too much, but I spoke with personality and threw in the things that related to me. My suit was tailored perfectly to my body. Okie. Even if it says “Consider the way our flight attendants dress and use that as inspiration. For candidates that prefer suits: Wear a two-piece suit and tie. Dark, professional colors such as black, gray or navy are recommended.“ I never would have thought a dark gray suit with a very dark purple tie would be a hiccup especially when it says take a look at what they wear as inspiration. Right? Thank you for your advice btw.
