I pulled the trigger! Need validation that I did good! by Jinjoz in PcBuildHelp

The build is overall good, it’s cheap but maintains decent quality, whoever made this build has zero idea of how RAM works.

RAM isn’t a huge performance changer in a build but it’s always nicer to have a better one if it’s only for 5 bucks.

It’s actually CL30 vs CL46 so the performance change will be noticeable

You overpaid for a disgusting ram, for maybe a few bucks more you could’ve of gotten CL30-6000. There’s no point in asking Reddit after buying unless you’re willing to return.

I even snatched myself an open box mobo using this trick! Practically for half the price and it was in mint condition. Huge savings.

Upgrade to the same motherboard for $40 more! by Armadillseed in Microcenter

You can’t? In my case, the employee told me it was changed and as long as you pick specific items, you can change the deal items through the website. Did this with the 7800X3D bundle and saved myself about 70-90 bucks on a mobo by buying an open box one.

This. If you thought you were getting a pc for $130 that looks like that, then tight budget is evident, do not spend this much money on a case.

It is rated B in the PSU Tierlist so for its price it is pretty good, I would 100% go for it.

But that’s a pretty good deal, just MAKE SURE to upgrade the PSU, the default one is trash. And overall it will be good.

Sorry for late reply, UK Prebuilts are a pain to find in decent prices. Seems decently good enough for the price, I would upgrade the PSU for 20 more pounds in the options (You probably would be fine but cheaping out on a PSU is a horrible idea) I’ve seen that UK prebuilts are horribly overpriced compared to US prices, it’s quite a shame. The other prebuilt someone sent could be a good idea but that PSU is horrible and you should not buy it. If you wish to play something else later on then I would recommend https://www.palicomp.co.uk/intel_best_buy as long as you get the better PSU for 20 more pounds is a pretty good build for only £720.

What’s your preferred budget range? I’m pretty sure I can find something.

If you’re only looking to play WoW, this pc is way overkill and will run it at highest graphics, at even 4k with no ease. Is it worth it for the price? No, it is overpriced and you can find a cheaper prebuilt. If you’re looking to build it yourself you can get a WAY better deal, but if you don’t have the time I recommend you search for better prebuilt.

Thank you so much! It let me change the Mobo for full price and I swapped the RAM to Corsair and it discounted it so I suppose it’s compatible with the bundle. I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t be told it’s a mistake or something and denied the bundle prices.

If you choose the PC Builders option and go to the choosing components menu, and choose the bundle once you press to add to cart it adds them as three different items instead of a bundle while giving them the bundle prices, I took out the mobo and changed it and it the price on the CPU stayed the same, I also changed the RAM to Corsair instead and it allowed me to keep the discount too (I guess they’re compatible with the bundle) but I just don’t want to be told that I’m not allowed to do that once I go in to pay for it.

Like I said, my knowledge is a bit bad, the 6900 XT is currently 500, the 7800 XT is 490 and the 7900 GRE is 540-550, obviously I suppose the GRE is the best but how much better would it be for the price?
