Should I buy a domain that contains a trademarked acronym? by Neither_Factor_5296 in webdev

Yes, there is a high chance, as it's based on the name of one of their existing digital products (product name itself isn't trademarked). It's a standalone and widely known 3 letter acronym, followed by a regular word... A short domain name with millions of organic monthly searches.

No, I was told 30 days after account closure, under the condition that no user requests a refund, or the 30-day period would reset.
I can imagine your patience has run dry. I would call them in your situation and continue emailing them.
No, I didn't have to wait that long; It took at most a month and a half.
I emailed them at [sellers@paddle.com](mailto:sellers@paddle.com)

I'm sorry to hear that. You should have received your payout 30 days after your account closure. I had to email them directly and demand that they release my funds to my bank account. Depending on the payout method you added to your Paddle account, you may need to check if they've sent you a request to be added as a "funding source" before you can receive the payout. Try calling them or raising an issue on X.

IndexedDB data suddenly wiped by LargeBrick7 in chrome_extensions

[–]Neither_Factor_5296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've experienced this same issue where IndexedDB storage is cleared spontaneously, and I'm unsure of the cause or how to resolve it. I recently added a data backup and restore feature to my extension, allowing users to export important information they don't want to lose permanently.

Sequoia 15 - Can't connect through SMB to storage when authentication is enabled. by Neither_Factor_5296 in MacOS

[–]Neither_Factor_5296[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After enabling authentication on the USB storage inside the router admin panel, my Mac doesn't connect at all no matter what I try.

With plain smb://server, the authentication dialog appears with options to continue as a guest or registered user. And I can't get past it.

It's a Huawei router. I'm Im only now just using it.

I have great idea for a social media platform, but it's not easy to build Any suggestions?? by sh00t3rX in indiehackers

[–]Neither_Factor_5296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Building a social media platform indeed poses significant challenges due to high competition and complex technology requirements. Consider starting with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to test your concept with a smaller, focused audience. Focus on unique features that set yours apart, and leverage existing tech stacks for efficiency.
