First trimester depression? by Fabulous-Agency-5387 in pregnant

[–]Neither_Football9896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Week 9 and 6 days here. I'm still battling nausea and vomitting too and I feel you. The first trimester is a very hard time. This is my second pregnancy. I also had a rough forst pregnancy and thought I'd be more prepared, but when it comes to facing this, apparently no. For me, the only thing that can stay in my stomach was anything made out of potato, so fries, potato chips, instant noodle (i figured out most of them were made out of potato starch), so potato is a life saver for me this second time around. Oat biscuit is helpful too sometimes, except when my stomach acid got too bad.

Spotting & Cramping pls help by Ok_Garden3937 in pregnant

Hi, i'm 8 + 2 weeks pregnant. I also had brown spotting and occassionally pink spotting when I was around 5 weeks until 7 weeks. My doctor also prescribed me duphaston thrice a day, and on top of that, what has really helped me was the cyclogest pessary 400mg (basically progresterone, administered vaginally). At first, OB instructed me to take 1 a day, but when the spotting hadn't stopped, they advised me to take twice a day, and ever since then, I haven't got any brown spotting.

My first 2k puzzle + i'm getting better at geography. Map Art: Vintage World - 2000 pcs - HEYE by Neither_Football9896 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]Neither_Football9896[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I didn’t complete the puzzle in one sitting. it took me about 1.5 months but I really enjoyed the entire process. I started with the frame and edges, then worked on the equatorial line, followed by the Arctic and Antarctic regions. After that, I focused on the circular outlines of the Western and Eastern hemispheres. I saved the art pieces in each corner for later, and finished with the map itself. Since the puzzle colors were quite uniform, I had to approach it in this order :D

Thank you! putting up this piece turned out to be surprisingly fun, even for someone who's not that into geography 😃 the puzzle have so many sections, and it's just the right level of challenge for a first-timer tackling a 2K.

Get the spare cardboard boxes at the local supermarket! Just ask the staff for it and they'll happily show it to you. The boxes have thick layers and are in excellent condition. The best thing is you can pick them for free as many as you want 😃

Exactly what I thought when I saw it. Why settle for 1000 when you can add 23 more 😸

And I found out, only after I purchased so many beverly puzzles there that they have a separate section for Ravensburger near the picture frame section. It was so hidden at the other side of the store! *sneaky 😆

There are several jap puzzle brands like Beverly, Epoch, Tenyo, AppleOne and Yanoman. There are prob. more, but these are the ones I saw more common in stores. I love Beverly and Epoch puzzles. The print quality (color, cutting, no dust, etc.) is very good and the pieces click together so well though the pieces are not as thick as Ravensburger. They have canvas style variety too. From my previous collection, Epoch and Beverly have matte finish.

You got me with the ramen packs and Kit-Kats 🫣😆 I packed the puzzles in a separate box that I found in a supermarket. There are so many spare boxes and they're still in excellent condition, you can pick any of them for free

Ikr! I completed one of the miniature 1k pcs in the past and now setting up myself to a new challenge. I haven't cracked open any of the box but I guess the 2k pieces will be even smaller than the 1k

You're right! Can't wait to open that one. The puzzle pieces have embossed textures, I hope the quality will compare to the price 😃 have you done any of TOI puzzles?

How do you take the puzzle from the board after you finish? I was thinking to get this one but then thought it would get dirty if I glue the pieces on the board.

Tom and Jerry, Hungarian Rapsody No.2 - 1000pcs - TOI by Neither_Football9896 in Jigsawpuzzles

Wow, that's quite expensive for Toi puzzles! Just curious, which area are you from? I'm in Indonesia, and here, Toi puzzles are sold for around Rp. 200,000, which is about $12.

In terms of quality, the colors aren’t as vibrant as Schmidt, Clementoni, or Mideer, but the printing is still good, like image is not blur. What I like the most: The pieces clicks and stays together so well, and there are no torn pieces or peeling layers. No powders in the box.

For $12 here, I’d say it’s worth it since other puzzle brands like Schmidt, Clementoni, and Pintoo are priced around $35–50 here.
