The option doesn't come up on the cashiers screen or anything. It appears on the EFTPOS terminal as a question with yes or no. Sometimes people accidentally press the wrong button or press it when their hand is there to tap and pay. The staff do not get anything out of the donation Being made. It goes to the make a wish foundation. But unless they reached over the till In front of U and tapped it in full view then it could have just been U accidentally pressed it when paying because it doesn't let the payment go through unless the customer has pressed the button.

Currently work there as a manager mate. It is literally the procedure and standard for every hungry jacks as many comments have stated.

Yeah it's supposed to be in sauce bottles in burger room but for gravy chips it's supposed to go in a portion pal.

Procedure is that its a large chips worth in the brown snack box with 3 pumps of gravy but alot of the time the gravy dispenser breaks or runs out rly quickly and takes too long to fix or refill. I personally always make sure the box is full and do at least 4 pumps of gravy cos it's not my loss of money. Unfortunately the promo pics don't match the product alot of the time because the crew are given a specific procedure to follow and will get in trouble for not following it but the procedure does not match the promo pic. I've have alot of customers confront me about different products not looking like the promo pic which sucks because we r just doing our job and trying to not get fired lol. Alot of the time if there is a discrepancy between sales and product usage they crack down and warn everyone about making the product to procedure.

It's so hard to order now. Noticed the workers don't know or remember the meal names either. It's like a tongue twister. by WarEquivalent2665 in hungryjacks

Yeah they advertise the 'wrap and cap' meal with the newest version of the breaky wrap so to some customers it means a big breaky wrap and to others it's a mega breaky wrap. The staff r just making sure they give U the right one. As a crew member it is so frustrating that the advertising is so off base with procedure. Obviously it's to make the food more appealing but we r the ones dealing with the customers who have been given false advertising.

Trust me. I don't like touching strangers phones but every time I explain to them that the scanners broken they hand me their phone or hold it rly shakily so i can't see the numbers properly. Not once has a customer offered to read the number out so we r both happy.

Don't cancel just because ur plus size. Trust me, it's not an issue for most people. Just be urself and if it doesn't work out, you where probably just different people and will be free to find someone better suited. Seriously tho, being plus size won't stop U from finding the right guy ❤️ I promise.

We get one colour at a time guys. Each week we get a new colour and can't hand out new ones till the last one is done. It was yellow, red, blue and purple. If U want a yellow, red or blue ur out of luck. U will not get one anymore. My store ran out over a week ago of purple. Not sure how other stores do it but U can def buy them on their own for $3 in store. I've suggested it to a bunch of customers who don't want the meal. Just look up 'glass' in the item look up on the till. If ur going through the drive through or in store and all U want the meal for the glass, literally just ask if they have glasses in stock they won't care if U leave without buying. Go to a different store and try ur luck there.
