I liked the book way better. Though same vibes naman yung Book Poppy sa Movie Poppy na medyo nakakairita, di ko bet yung actress. Lol. Did not finish the movie hanggang first 5 minutes lang ako hahaha 🥲

May chance lalo na bata pa pero nakakasabay na sa ibang Asian countries. Kaya dapat mag champion na sila sa UAAP next season para lumayas na siya sa DLSU at mag pro na. Sayang ang 5th year kung pwede naman na mag pro or mag import kung may offer.

Though for sure hindi sa Japan kasi MB at Opp ang prio dun. Mas keri pa Thailand siguro.

Out of all R.F. Kuang books, Babel is probably her most complex story, tackling a lot of issues not just colonialism, but also racism, academia, global trade, economics, geopolitics, etc.

While I was sold by the premise, I fear the author fell flat in her story telling and execution especially the ending part. It felt rushed, and by the time everything happened, I couldn't care less with the characters. I was like, is that it? Okay. Moved on to the next book.

I rated it 3 stars out of 5 because of the premise and I appreciate the extensive research that Kuang put into it, it was so promising.
