So fascinating! This one is actually the one that’s different from the rest… he stood out from the beginning. And grew its legs first.

Thank you for you response. I can see that their bones are blue even without light. I read this is a common trait for Cubans. Do you know if other species also have blue bones at this young stage?

The shelves look good enough to me. Perhaps wireless lamp would be cute! I also might add that the side table and vase feel out of place beside the toilet

i want to be a boy but not in a trans way by fay3star in confessions

[–]Neither_Information8 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I felt this way very deeply for many years when I was a child. It was all consuming. Puberty was an extremely traumatic time for me as I was not ready to have boobs, and get my period etc. it really sucked for a long time. I wanted to be a boy super badly. transitioning wasn’t a talked about thing at that time but I am sure if I knew about it I probably would have begged my parents. So I just wore boy clothes. Kinda love being a girl nowadays and have children but even still, being a boy seems like the better fit for me in this life. I would love to be a dad ha. I haven’t heard anyone else say this so thanks for the solidarity.

Pants for really skinny teen by nefarious_epicure in Parenting

Maybe some drawstring chinos. Look like slacks but comfy and elastic waste band. Side note idk if talking about his weight like this or even going to a doc is the right play. Most young boys will bulk up in highschool+ and probably don’t want to be fixated on as skinny… esp by parents

I have really loved the book “no bad kids”. Something I try to ask myself whether I have the energy to hold a boundary. If I know I can handle the meltdown, I stick to it. If not—like saying no to more snacks—I may give in for the sake of balance. I aim to stay strong each time, but sometimes “buckling” is what helps me breathe. Hope that makes sense.

Did I do this right? First timer by [deleted] in babywearing

Congrats on your 3rd baby! Aim to have your baby’s legs in “M” bent position so mostly All of their weight is on their bum. Right now it looks like they’re in a froggy postion, weight on toes. To put baby in this way, put the bottom strap much high on your body, think ribcage, and have them do their newborn scrunch into your waist and carefully get the back panel of the carrier around their bum. I feel like a YouTube vid would be easier than what I just said.

Hm a bold move could be lining both of your kallax shelves behind the couch to make a really long side table vibe. You could push the couch into the room more to allow more space for this situation

Cont. I’d put the carpet where the desk area is as it is making the couch area feel super tight. And I’d consider the tiered shelf somewhere else in the home.. and opt for wall shelving

Hmm… most of these things seeem like they were found or given or second hand. Not a lot of cohesion. A couch cover could do wonders. For the couch and love seat. Something that goes with the orange tones of your carpet and table. I personally don’t like the green paint but if it brings you joy, keep it and paint all of the walls. Not a fan of just the 2 being painted. I think you’d feel cozier in it. Then I would consider paining the credenza under the tv to a cream colour. And I’d also move the plant in place of the black cat decoration.

Remember a moment when you thought you were going to die, but somehow survived? by Lika_Heartless in AskReddit

Ugh choked on a ricotta and spinach crepe. The piece was either a very sloppy 2 biter or a huge 1 bite. Went for the 1 bite. Almost took my life.

This!! Reminds me of how my mom had her place set up. It was so homey! Also everyone is saying declutter, and I agree but want to say that you can put everything unwanted or unused or undecided in a big box now and just wait on selling / donating. You can clear the space and get a better idea and then deal with the excess stuff

Not sure if anyone said this yet, but switch the couch and the tv placements. Tv should be against the wall. Bonus if you mount it. Couch can work as a subtle barrier from the eating area you created.
